We are so excited to have your teen at Calvary Youth Summer Camp this year! Camp is for all incoming 7th graders through outgoing 12th graders. Each day will be filled with devotional time, morning and evening Bible teachings, worship, fellowship- building activities, water and night games, and of course, food! Students are lodged in cabins by gender and age (junior high vs. high school) with one or two camp counselors. The students also have the option to purchase chips, candy, and soda for $1 per item at the snack hut every afternoon.

CAMP DATES: Monday, August 10th – Friday, August 14th Please arrive at Calvary Chapel Salt Lake, Monday, August 10th between 10am-1pm to check-in your student. We will depart Calvary at 2pm and must have all students and luggage loaded before then. Please arrive on Time! We will return to Calvary Chapel Salt Lake, Friday, August 14th around 1pm for pick-up.

PRICE: Total cost is $200, which includes lodging, all meals, transportation, activities, camp shirts, etc…. All money is non-refundable. Fundraising opportunities will be available! Deadlines: Minimum deposit of $75 is due by Sunday June 27th Remaining balance is due by Sunday August 2nd

Space is limited and WILL fill up! Registration forms accompanied by a deposit will be given first priority.

MEETING: Please plan to attend a parent meeting immediately following the last service (2:30pm) on Sunday, August 9th in the Youth Room. There you will meet all of the camp counselors and be given further details and important reminders. Students will receive their cabin assignments at this meeting. Please note, while we would love to accommodate every request regarding cabin assignments, it is tremendously difficult to do so. CALVARY CHAPEL SALT LAKE - CALVARY YOUTH SUMMER CAMP Pinecliff Camp, August 10th – 14th 2015

CELL PHONES: Cell phone reception at the camp is extremely limited, so there is no need for students to bring them and we ask that they be left at home. Camp counselors will have phones available in case of emergency and you can contact the church directly to get in touch with the camp counselors and your student. The camp contact information is below as a last resort. Any cell phones brought to camp are required to be checked in to a designated camp counselor and will be returned after camp upon arrival to church. Students are allowed to bring iPods with worship music, which are allowed for use only during personal time.

DRESS CODE: Please pack modest attire. Shorts must be at least fingertip length and no swimsuits will be needed. Tank tops must have straps that are at least two fingers wide, with no plunging necklines. Shirts of all kinds must cover the belly and have messages that are in good taste. Please remember that during water games clothes will get wet so make sure not to pack anything that will become see-through.

BEHAVIOR: Though we do not foresee any unruly behavior, we do need to inform you of our discipline policy. There is a zero tolerance policy in regards to illegal and/or inappropriate activity (drugs, alcohol, tobacco, weapons of any kind, theft, sexual activity, etc.) or disrespect to others or property. It will be the responsibility of the parents to immediately pick up their child from camp if any of this behavior is exhibited.

LOCATION: Camp is held at Pinecliff Camp in Coalville, Utah, less than two hours from Salt Lake City in the foothills of the Uinta Mountains (www.pinecliffcamp.com). Take I-80 East from Salt Lake City or take I-84 East from Ogden to Coalville, Utah. From Main Street in Coalville go east on 100 N., which becomes Chalk Creek Road. Pinecliff is 17 miles east on the right hand side of the road and is clearly marked.

So as not to disrupt the events that are taking place at camp, we respectfully ask that you do not “drop in” to camp. This information is provided so you will know where your child will be for the week.

RECOMMENDED PACKING CHECKLIST Camp clothes need to be comfortable and functional, please do not buy new clothes for camp. Shoes should be comfortable and well broken in. Do not bring expensive jewelry, clothing, shoes or other such items to camp. Any items lost are the sole responsibility of the student, so please consider carefully what is packed.
