This talent population is not only entering a workforce that looks different to the workforce her mother and grandmother may, or may not, have entered – she is entering it with a different career mindset. She is more highly educated, more confident and more career ambitious than any of her previous generations” (Flood, 2015). Organizational leaders seek educated, confident and ambitious employees. Therefore, the above description begs the question: How can one attract and retain such valuable talent? Female professionals born between 1980 and 2000 are considered the Millennial Generation.
