There will be time for you to have a coffee and also a stop for you to wander off and get something to eat & drink (Not included) Thurs 16 Pensthorpe Natural Park & Railway £50.00 Today we will make our way to Wymondham Station for your journey on the Mid-Norfolk Railway to Dereham, where you will have a light lunch. After lunch you will depart Dereham station for a trip to Pensthorpe Natural Park where you will have free time to explore. With over 700 acres of diverse habitats, the former home of BBC Springwatch brings together the beauty of the natural world with it’s acres of beautiful lakes, woodland walks and four stunning gardens - all of which are home to an array of birds and wildlife, including rare and endangered species such as Red Squirrels, Corncrakes, Turtle Doves and Cranes. Enjoy the Show Gardens, Fine Art Show and over 80 Quality trade stands. Sun 09 RAF Cosford Airshow £50.00 The Cosford Air Show is the only RAF’s annual airshow in 2019. Cosford airfield is fairly small and has retained the character of an old RAF base. Today it’s home to the Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering as well as a branch of the RAF Museum. As such the site is full of former RAF equipment for trading the ground trades of the armed forces as well as the collection from the RAF Museum. The 2019 show will mark the 70th Anniversary of NATO and Women in Defence. Then continue your day with a trip on the Wells & Walsingham Light Railway - the longest 10 ¼ narrow gauge steam railway in the world. It began in 2004 as The British Postal Museum & Archive and opened in Central London as The Postal Museum on 28 July 2017. From cryptic Victorian Valentine cards to a lion encountered on Salisbury Plain. And the odd pistol, too. There’s nothing ordinary about the story of the post. Journey back in time on a specially made train through the original tunnels and station platforms under Mount Pleasant. After lunch we will make our way to Walton on the Naze where you will have the afternoon to do as you please. Why not take a towel with you and take a paddle in the sea, or visit the pier, the second longest in the country. Thurs 27 Cromer & Sheringham £20.00 We will make our way to Sheringham where there will be time to wander of and get some lunch (not included). After some time here we will make our way along the coast to Cromer where again you will have some free time. We will then make our way back home. Sun 30 Chelsworth Gardens £25.00 Chelsworth is a picturesque village situated in the beautiful Brett Valley, just a few miles from Lavenham and is regarded as one the prettiest villages in the country. This will be the 51st year that residents in the village have opened their wonderful private gardens to the public on the last Sunday in June. This year's event will include, cakes, teas and savoury refreshments, live music, plant and produce stalls, food, craft and other commercial stands. Sat 06 Wisbech Rose Fair £25.00 This is a ideal day out, in the award winning St Peters Gardens you can wander amongst a variety of stalls selling local produce with fresh fruit and vegetables, plants, cakes and preserves, plus crafts and gifts. More stalls can be found in the picturesque Museum Square. The magnificent 900 year old parish church of St Peter and St Paul is the main attraction of this annual event, and is the setting for the breathtaking displays of traditional flowers and exotic blooms. Tue 09 Cromer Summer Show (2) & Lunch £60.00 The only ‘End-of-the-pier’ show in Europe. Cromer Pavilion Theatre is now the only theatre at the end of the pier that produces an in house show every summer season. The Cromer Pier Show is one of the few true live variety shows in Britain, showcasing live variety acts at their best. You will also be able to enjoy a delicious Lunch before the Show.
