Wildcat Track Information

Coaches: Coach Garren, Coach Keaton, Coach Byrd, and Coach Dunham

There will be a parent meeting for all track participants after practice on Thursday, March 2 at 5 P.M. in the gym.  In order to participate in practices and competitions, you must 1. Have no semester Fs in core classes on the last report card 2. Have a physical form dated after April 1, 2016 3. Get parent permission (with a signature on the back of the physical form)

 Practice will begin on Monday, February 27 at 4:00. Rides must pick you up by the gym at 5:15. Practices are held Monday through Thursday.

 Wear proper clothing for practice, including tennis shoes. The weather will change day to day, so be prepared for colder or warmer temperatures. Students will be issued uniforms for meets. These uniforms will need to be returned immediately after the meet and will not be taken home. Girls will need to wear white T-shirts under meet uniforms.

 Absences If you need to be absent from practice due to medical reasons, give a written excuse to one of the coaches. Absences the day before a meet may result in exclusion from events during a meet.

 Dismissal from the team 3 or more times in Behavior Intervention Class (BIC) by an Administrator More than 1 OSS 3rd time your ride is more than 30 minutes late to pick you up Refusal to cooperate with Coaches’ requests

Meet Schedule For away meets, athletes must ride the bus back to STMS and have rides pick them up no later than 7:00.
