Booster Club Minutes -- September 1, 2015 -- LPHS Student Center

The meeting was called to order and presided by Sharon Redd. Minutes were unavailable. Treasurer’s report was submitted and approved.

Old Business:  Media Guide update (Kathy A): update—in processing and printing. Due for delivery Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. $5price agreed upon. Need adults to sign out for money/books if students are selling.  Membership drive (Kathy A): numbers are up this year. Still taking membership forms.  Fan Cloth orders (Kathy A): orders are being taken until Friday night at the game. Delivery date is end of September.  Health Fair (Sheryl): will be selling cookies and Capri Sun. perhaps shirts?  Game Meals: only 1 JV game on Thursday. Meal numbers to be adjusted. Discussed with Coach how to limit meals to those who paid. Will submit a list to coaches on who on each team has paid.  Future Bulldog: forms went home 8/31 and should be coming in every day now. Deadline is still 9/4  DP game shirts: Agreed on “I don’t often eat deer but when I do, I prefer Deer park” on the front and “Stay Victorious My Friends” on the back. Orange camo not available. Will be on a solid orange shirt. Ordering 34 for cheer and 100 for football fans. Price will be $15  Bulldog Head/Smoke (Lori): exchanging mistaken chemical extinguisher for CO2 one. Volunteers working well.  Dinner @ the Dawg House (Sharon): went well and the boys had fun. Need players to circulate more and not “clump”. Need more community and booster sponsor involvement? Perhaps add raffle/prizes  Gate Sales (Jan): getting volunteers for Thursdays game. Jan to call volunteer list  Pit (Kathy): Chester Semien to volunteer at most games. Perhaps get him to head this up. Still need contact with pit owners for delivery. Sausage will be $5 and turkey legs will be $7
