The State of Virginia requires a Criminal History check and a Central Registry search on all Child Care Employees. There is a $22.00 fee involved which is explained during the interview. This fee is the responsibility of the employee and will be deducted from the first pay check. Updated background checks will be the responsibility of the employer.

Teachers are strongly encouraged to attend teacher meetings and staff development trainings. Bundle of Joy does not tolerate physical or verbal abuse of children! (spanking, jerking, pulling, shouting, etc.) ______Staff are required to obtain 16 hours of continuing education each year (subject to change as DSS regulations are updated).
