Annual EEO Public File Report

The purpose of this EEO Public File Report /Website Report (“Report”} is to comply with Section 73.2080(c)(6) of the FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule. This Report has been prepared on behalf of the Station Employment Unit [SEU] that is comprised of the following stations: WVRQ-AM and WVRQ-FM licensed to Viroqua, Wisconsin and WPRE-AM and WQPC-FM licensed to Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. This information is required to be placed in the above station’s public file and posted on their website. The information contained in this Report covers the time period August 1, 2005 to July 31, 2006. The FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule requires that this Report contain the following information:

1. A list of all full-time vacancies filled by the Stations comprising the Station Employment Unit;

2. For each such vacancy, the recruitment source(s) utilized to fill the vacancy (including, if applicable, organizations entitled to notification pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(1)(ii) of the new EEO Rule, which should be separately identified, identified by name, address, contact person and telephone number;

3. The recruitment source that referred the hiree for each full-time vacancy during the Applicable Period.

4. Data reflecting the total number of persons interviewed for full-time vacancies during the Applicable Period and the total number of interviewees referred by each recruitment source utilized in connections with such vacancies; and

5. A list and brief description of the initiatives undertaken pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(2) of the FCC Rules.

Appendix 1. There were no full-time vacancies filled during the above EEO time period.

Appendix 2. Station management personnel participated in four job fairs. One was held March 31, 2006 at the National Guard Armory in Prairie du Chien, Wi sponsored by the Wisconsin Job Center and Prairie du Chien Chamber of Commerce. Another was held January 24, 2006 at the Madison Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin. A third job fair was held March 30, 2006 at Western Wisconsin Technical College in Viroqua sponsored by the Wisconsin Job Center and the SEU. The fourth was held June 14, 2006 at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The stations ran numerous on-air announcements concerning these job/career fairs.

SEU management participated in two Nondiscrimination & Outreach in Hiring Workshops sponsored by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association. The first was held January 24, 2006 presented by Rochelle Klaskin, Attorney with LaFollette Godfrey and Kahn. Part two of the Workshop took place June 14, 2006 and was presented by James T. Prosser, Attorney with the same firm. The stations participated in the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association [WBA] Foundation’s scholarship program, which extends scholarships to worthy students on an annual basis. The stations contribute to the scholarship, promote the availability of the scholarship program on the air, provide blank applications upon request, are available to answer questions about the program, and make an initial evaluation of the candidates for the evaluation committee.

The stations ran on-air announcements seeking and advising organizations that assist job seekers that they may request to be placed on a list to receive all job notices from the stations.

Appendix 5: Station management personnel participated in three job fairs. One was held April 8, 2005 at the National Guard Armory in Prairie du Chien, Wi sponsored by the Wisconsin Job Center and Prairie du Chien Chamber of Commerce. Another was held January 25, 2005 at the Madison Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin. A third job fair was held March 31, 2005 at Western Wisconsin Technical College in Viroqua sponsored by the Wisconsin Job Center. The stations ran numerous on-air announcements concerning these job/career fairs.

The stations participated in the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association [WBA] Foundation’s scholarship program, which extends scholarships to worthy students on an annual basis. The stations contribute to the scholarship, promote the availability of the scholarship program on the air, provide blank applications upon request, are available to answer questions about the program, and make an initial evaluation of the candidates for the evaluation committee.

The stations ran on-air announcements seeking and advising organizations that assist job seekers that they may request to be placed on a list to receive all job notices from the stations.
