The fracture between Maria Valtorta and Father Migliorini, the definitive and irrevocable moving of him to Rome, the spiritual solitude of her; the rise and disappearance of Dora Barsottelli, are the happenings of our history. In that year 1946, finally freed from war, but full of perils and poverty, there takes place a real, truly human tragedy, that will hardly strike Maria Valtorta and her inner circle. Father Romualdo M. Migliorini, Order of Servants of Maria, in 1942 First of all I obviously feel indispensable to summarize all facts given by Maria became the spiritual director of Valtorta’s writings. They both knew about each other because of Father Migliorini, spiritual director of Maria Valtorta was also Barsottelli’s care taker’s case». -

I had learnt the night prayer to Jesus, Mary and Joseph for assistance ‘in my last agony’ when at school aged eight. In later life I had developed the habit of asking St Joseph’s help with practical matters such as problems with the car or computer. It was a reference to St Joseph during an Advent retreat in December 2016 that prompted me to explore his life and mission in more detail. The retreat master mentioned two things about St Joseph which intrigued me: within the Holy Family Joseph held ‘a primacy of authority’ while Mary held ‘a primacy of love’1 and secondly that a recent mystic had experienced inner locutions from St Joseph indicating that he had been sanctified in the womb. A search of the Internet on Sister Ephrem Neuzil confirmed that St Joseph had reportedly said to her that he had been freed from original sin soon after his conception. -

The Knight Courier
The Knight Courier Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree Saint Francis Caracciolo Assembly 3697 510 St. James Avenue Goose Creek, South Carolina 29445 JUNE 2021 A Prayer for Protection in the Time of Pandemic “O Mary, you always brighten our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who, at the Cross took part in Jesus’ pain while remaining steadfast in faith. O loving Mother, you know what we need and we are confident you will provide for us as at Cana in Galilee. Intercede for us with your Son Jesus, the Divine Physician for those who have fallen ill, for those who are vulnerable, and for those who have died, Intercede also for those charged with protecting the health and safety of others and for those who are tending to the sick and seeking a cure. Help us, O Mother of Divine Love, to confirm to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who took upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows, so as to lead us, though the Cross, to the glory of the Resurrection. Amen! Under thy protection we seek refuge, O Holy Mother of God. In our needs despise not our petitions, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen.” Adapted from the Prayer of Pope Francis, published through the Knights of Columbus This Prayer should be said daily, and don’t forget the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
