Dear participants,

This is the third edition of the European Universities Games. After Cordoba and Rotterdam, this year we are in the wonderful city of Zagreb. Never before did we have such a large tournament, consisting of twenty men’s teams and sixteen women’s teams. It is the largest tournament we had in history. I wish all of you - players, coaches, officials, team followers and all others involved in the Games a very comfortable stay and an interesting tournament. I also wish the referees all the best - hoping the Games will be successful for them, and that fairness and sports- Peter George manship behavior will outweigh.
