Chandlers Ford and Hiltingbury) (Amendment No.16) Order 2015

THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH (CHANDLERS FORD AND HILTINGBURY) (AMENDMENT NO.16) ORDER 2015

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Eastleigh Borough Council pursuant to arrangements under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 with Hampshire County Council has made the above mentioned Traffic Regulation Amendment Order in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police.

The general effect of this Order is to insert into The Borough of Eastleigh (Chandlers Ford and Hiltingbury) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting)(Disabled Persons Parking Places) Order 2004 new waiting restrictions, and revoke some existing restrictions as detailed below:

‘No waiting at any time’ and ‘no waiting’ restrictions are proposed in the following roads:

Apollo Road – No waiting at any time Avon Green – No waiting at any time

Bodycoats Road - No waiting at any time Charnwood Crescent - No waiting at any time

Charnwood Gardens - No waiting at any Claudius Gardens - No waiting at any time time

Ford Avenue - No waiting at any time Hiltingbury Road - No waiting at any time

Justinian Close - No waiting at any time Kingsway - No waiting and No waiting at any time

Pennine Way - No waiting at any time Peverells Wood Avenue - No waiting at any time

Purkess Close - No waiting at any time Ribble Close - No waiting at any time (amendments (amendments made since initial advert – made since initial advert – not all proposed restrictions restrictions only to be implemented at to be implemented) junction)

Richmond Close – No waiting Shaftesbury Avenue - No waiting at any time (amendments made since initial advert – restrictions only to be implemented at junction and bend, not full length of road)

Skipton Road - No waiting at any time Sutherlands Way - No waiting at any time

Treloyhan Close - No waiting at any time Vespasian Way - No waiting at any time (amendments made since initial advert – restrictions reduced)

The Order will come into operation on 11 January 2016. A copy of the Order may be inspected at Eastleigh House, Upper Market Street, Eastleigh during normal office hours or on the Councils website: www.eastleigh.gov.uk/TRO

Any persons wishing to question the validity of this Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 18 December 2015 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
