HCPS Certificates for Google http://hcps.us/certificates

Introduction

Students and teachers are now able to access many Google apps on their own devices while connected to the ​ ​ HCPS Guest network. Just download the 6 certificates created by HCPS Technology Services, follow the instructions below to install the certificates, and you will be able to access many of your Google apps. You may need to restart your browser or device for the changes to take place.

*Repeat steps 3-6 for all 6 certificates. When you are complete, you can verify that you have the 6 certificates installed by going to:

Settings > Security > Trusted Credentials > User

Ensure all certificates are trusted (slider is green) REPEAT

*Repeat this process for all 6 certificates. When you are complete, you can verify that you have the 6 certificates installed by going to:

Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings

Manage Computer Certificates > Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates

When you are complete, you can verify that you have the 6 certificates installed by searching certificates.

1) Click: Settings > Advanced settings > Manage Certificates 2) Click: Authorities tab and scroll to find the ‘Hanover County Public Schools’ folder

CONFIRM *Under AUTHORITIES, scroll down until you see org-Hanover County Public Schools
