KEY WORDS—Agaricomycetes, Marasmius, Mycena, Collybia, Clitocybe Introduction The aim of the Checklist of the Argentinean Agaricales is to establish a baseline of knowledge on the diversity of mushrooms species described in the literature from Argentina up to 2011. The families Amanitaceae, Pluteaceae, Hygrophoraceae, Coprinaceae, Strophariaceae, Bolbitaceae and Crepidotaceae were previoulsy compiled (Niveiro & Albertó 2012a-c). In this contribution, the families Tricholomataceae and Polyporaceae are presented. Materials & Methods Nomenclature and classification systems This checklist compiled data from the available literature on Tricholomataceae and Polyporaceae recorded for Argentina up to the year 2011. Nomenclature and classification systems followed Singer (1986) for families. The genera Pleurotus, Panus, Lentinus, and Schyzophyllum are included in the family Polyporaceae. The Tribe Polyporae (including the genera Polyporus, Pseudofavolus, and Mycobonia) is excluded. There were important rearrangements in the families Tricholomataceae and Polyporaceae according to Singer (1986) over time to present. Tricholomataceae was distributed in six families: Tricholomataceae, Marasmiaceae, Physalacriaceae, Lyophyllaceae, Mycenaceae, and Hydnaginaceae. Some genera belonging to this family were transferred to other orders, i.e. Rickenella (Rickenellaceae, Hymenochaetales), and Lentinellus (Auriscalpiaceae, Russulales). -

Species of Hygrocybe Subgenus Cuphophyllus Hygrophorus Flavipes

Observations on some species of Hygrocybe subgenus Cuphophyllus Eef Arnolds Biological Station, Wijster (Drente), Netherlands* The nomenclature of the violaceous of grey species Hygrocybe subgenus Cuphophyllus and the taxonomic position of H. subradiata are discussed. One new species is described and onenew combination is made, viz. Hygrocybe radiata and H. flavipes. In Europe usually two species with a grey violaceous to lilac pileus are distinguished within Hygrocybe subgenus Cuphophyllus Donk (= Camarophyllus sensu auct.), named H. subvio- lacea (Peck) Orton & Watl. and H. lacmus (Schum.) Orton & Watl. The former species is characterized by an entirely white stipe and aromatic smell, whereas the latter species has a yellow base of stipe and no characteristic smell. Recently, Raid& Boertmann (1988) demonstrated that the name Agaricus lacmus Schum. has been since Schumacher did mention (1803: 333) currently misinterpreted not a yellow base of stipe in the original description and an unpublished, authentic plate by that author shows white lacmus Schum. is an entirely stipe. Consequently, Agaricus an earlier synonym ofHygrophorus subviolaceus Peck (1900: 82) and H. lacmus sensu auct. (with a yellow stipe base) should have a new name. According to Raid & Boertmann (1988) the oldest available name is Hygrophorus flavipes Britz. This epithet was not yet combinedin Hygrocybe and thereforethe following combina- tion is proposed: Hygrocybe flavipes (Britz.) Arnolds, comb. nov. — Basionym: Hygrophorus flavipes Britz., Hymenomyc. Stidbayern 8: 10, fig. 69. 1891. Some authors (Clemengon, 1982; Bon, 1984) distinguished two species with a yellow base of stipe, differing in spore size only: Camarophyllus lacmus sensu C16mengon with ellip- soid to lacrimiform of 6.5-8 x 4.5-6 and C. -

A PRELIMINARY CHECKLIST OF ARIZONA MACROFUNGI Scott T. Bates School of Life Sciences Arizona State University PO Box 874601 Tempe, AZ 85287-4601 ABSTRACT A checklist of 1290 species of nonlichenized ascomycetaceous, basidiomycetaceous, and zygomycetaceous macrofungi is presented for the state of Arizona. The checklist was compiled from records of Arizona fungi in scientific publications or herbarium databases. Additional records were obtained from a physical search of herbarium specimens in the University of Arizona’s Robert L. Gilbertson Mycological Herbarium and of the author’s personal herbarium. This publication represents the first comprehensive checklist of macrofungi for Arizona. In all probability, the checklist is far from complete as new species await discovery and some of the species listed are in need of taxonomic revision. The data presented here serve as a baseline for future studies related to fungal biodiversity in Arizona and can contribute to state or national inventories of biota. INTRODUCTION Arizona is a state noted for the diversity of its biotic communities (Brown 1994). Boreal forests found at high altitudes, the ‘Sky Islands’ prevalent in the southern parts of the state, and ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa P.& C. Lawson) forests that are widespread in Arizona, all provide rich habitats that sustain numerous species of macrofungi. Even xeric biomes, such as desertscrub and semidesert- grasslands, support a unique mycota, which include rare species such as Itajahya galericulata A. Møller (Long & Stouffer 1943b, Fig. 2c). Although checklists for some groups of fungi present in the state have been published previously (e.g., Gilbertson & Budington 1970, Gilbertson et al. 1974, Gilbertson & Bigelow 1998, Fogel & States 2002), this checklist represents the first comprehensive listing of all macrofungi in the kingdom Eumycota (Fungi) that are known from Arizona. -

Mykologické listy –Abstrakty / Abstracts Číslo 144/ Volume 144 Ševčíková H., Mička M. (2019): První nálezy voskovky narůžovělé ‒ Gliophorus reginae ‒ v České republice. ‒ Mykologické Listy no. 144: 1‒10. V článku jsou představeny první nálezy druhu Gliophorus reginae v České republice. Je navrženo její české jméno voskovka narůžovělá. Je uveden popis jejích makroskopických i mikroskopických znaků na základě studovaných položek. Je zmíněno její rozlišení od fylogeneticky i morfologicky podobných druhů voskovek, jsou prezentovány fotografie voskovky narůžovělé i barevně podobných druhů voskovky papouščí – Gliophorus psittacinus s růžovými tóny a voskovky příjemné – Porpolomopsis calyptriformis. Voskovka narůžovělá je navržena do příštího vydání Červeného seznamu hub (makromycetů) České republiky do kategorie DD. Karazin Kharkiv National University [email protected] , [email protected] https://doi.org/10.34142/2708-5848.2020.22.2.01 Hygrophoraceae is a family within Agaricales, which comprises 26 genera and approximately 690 agaricoid species, including ectomycorrhizal, lichen-forming, bryophilous, humus and litter decomposing fungi. Some of these species especially those from genera Cuphophyllus, Hygrocybe, Neohygrocybe and Porpolomopsis are associated with natural grasslands and show extreme sensitivity to the presence of nitrogen-containing fertilizers in their substrate. This makes them indicative species of grasslands of high conservation value. While casual observations of Hygrophoraceae of Ukraine were incorporated in studies of agaricoid fungi as a whole, this family has never been in the focus of special research. Previously accumulated data on the diversity of Hygrophoraceae in Ukraine must be aggregated and revised. We have summarized all available data on the occurrences of Hygrophoraceae in Ukraine, including published papers, open databases, citizen science observations, and the previously unpublished original collection materials. Also, we provide an original description of the rare European species Haasiella venustissima (Fr.) Kotl. & Pouzar ex Chiaffi & Surault, which is reported for the first time from the territory of Ukraine. The resulting checklist of Hygrophoraceae of Ukraine includes 66 species. Leading genera are Hygrophorus (22 species), Hygrocybe (17) and Arrhenia (10); 5 species among them (Hygrocybe punicea, Hyrgocybe splendidissima, Neohygrocybe nitrata, Neohygrocybe ovina, Porpolomopsis calyptriformis) are threatened and according to “IUCN Red List” considered “Vulnerable”.
