6. Meeting 6 in Landulph on 9th September 2017 – Today ! Leadership level 1 – what is it and how do you get it?

7. Meeting 7 will be on 5th December in Saltash First Badge wearers + Student Led building surveys

6. Meeting 8 will be on 2nd February in Trewidland School Launch of student leadership scheme and awards

7. Meeting 9 will be on 28th March in Community Academy Student Leadership level 2

8. Meeting 10 will be on 18th May In Leadership training including - Future, Engage, Deliver!

9. Meeting 11 will be on 9th July in school What is happening today? Till 10:00 Ice breaker activities – Splat ? 20 mins Feedback from our last meeting 10 mins FED School tour, observation of teaching 12:50 Final wrap up 1:05 Lunch starts here and we return on Minibus 1:30 Minibus comes to pick up Till 3:00 Minibus and Write up back at your school Session 1 – Ice Breaker Games (5-10 mins)

1. Each Primary – get into 2 groups: Group A and Group B

2. Each Secondary – get into 2 groups PLUS one Primary Helper

3. Work out what team you are in and say ‘Team 1 over here’ etc. Team 1 = Landulph ‘A’ + Dobwalls ‘B’ + 1 Saltash Helper Team 2 = Landulph ‘B’ + Trewidland ‘A’ + 1 Looe Helper Team 3 = Dobwalls ‘A’ + Trewidland ‘B’ + 1 Liskeard Helper Team 4 = Saltash ‘A’ + Liskeard ‘A’ + Looe ‘A’ group Team 5 = Saltash ‘B’ + Liskeard ‘B’ + Looe ‘B’ group Actions for each school from our last meeting

• Dobwalls - At least 2 Student Council members have got a Level 1 Leadership badge.

• Landulph – Mr B deliver badges to Landulph, Leaders to ask for more meeting time.

• Looe – Ellie to organize the launch of the leadership scheme with the council.

• Liskeard – Mr B to follow up and make sure a meeting happens. Leaders to use their Looe contacts to try and set up an independently run Student Council.

• Trewidland – Continue the good work.

• Saltash.net – The Council to contact Mr Bond ASAP to launch the scheme. Should we use FED for our leadership training?

• What is our big idea? • What will be different about the MAT in 5 years time? • What will leaders be doing at this time? • How many students will be involved? • How do we get them engaged? • How do we keep them engaged? • How do we deliver on this promise? • How do we make this future really happen? • How do we create a movement of people? In multi school groups for activity 1

• Ideas will be collected from everyone • Collect pens and large paper for your group • Everyone with a different colour pen so everyone can see their contribution

• Best idea debated

• Best three from the group • Best three from us all – this will be our focus to make it happen Big ideas? ????

Student led radio station? Day in the life of work (via parents) Student led Newsletter?

• Know your meeting dates – Everyone to check they can find the calendar and let Rachel know if they have been moved or didn’t happen.

• Let us know who your number one choice for a level 2 leader would be.

Activity 1 • In School Groups first agree the person from your school who you have agreed is most deserving of the level 2 award. They will be your most reliable, most active leader and the person who has done the most to give other people leadership training.

• After 10 minutes – get into mixed groups and explain your choice to the other members. Write down what are the qualities that impress you most.
