SUMMER (MAY-JUNE) Speaking is out of the question as no word can she possibly utter, In the pond sit water buffalos chewing the cud, Her mouth is in constant flutter. Desiring sleep but constantly awakened and fed up, Her elbows ache clutching her knees together, On the border of the eyes is the humming of the flies.
