If you are experiencing problems with satellite or Freeview TV channel reception TV Aerials Leeds have experienced engineers that can give you advice on whether or not you need repairs or re-alignment. Repairing And Aligning Sky And Satellite TV Aerial Systems. Sometimes, it is possible for your satellite dish and aerial to move around. Maybe the mountings have become loose and your dish has dropped slightly. Or the weather could’ve shifted it to the side, leaving you with a weaker signal. You may not notice on a fine day, but do you lose some channels or experience ‘picture break up’ on a cloudy day? TV Aerial Leeds can send out one of our Freesat installers or TV Aerial repair engineers to check the alignment of your dish and even show you the results using our specialist equipment, giving you a guarantee of quality workmanship and value for our services. Your satellite dish or Aerial may not need repairing, but may simply need re-aligning. Satellite dish re-alignment involves correcting the angles at which the dish sits as is it is mounted to a surface, usually a wall on the outside of your home. When your satellite dish was originally installed, the engineer carrying out the installation would have had prior knowledge of the position of the most relevant satellite in orbit for transmitting the television signal to your home. Create PDF in your applications with the Pdfcrowd HTML to PDF API PDFCROWD Then, during the installation, he would have positioned the satellite dish on its’ wall mountings in the approximate direction of the satellite transmitter. Once the installation was nearly complete, TV Aerials Leeds would then use some specialist equipment called a spectrum analyzer to adjust the angle of the dish with enough precision to achieve a good quality reception. One of my proudest achievements here has been the LGBT+ Conservatives Candidates’ Fund, which has supported so many people into parliament and raised tens of thousands of pounds. As the fund matures it is moving into a new governance structure, and I hope to play a role in that future. I am thrilled to be succeeded by Elena Bunbury. I know that she will bring new energy to the organisation, and I hope it will continue to thrive under her leadership. I am so grateful to everyone who has supported me on this journey. In particular Emma Warman, Matthew Green and John Cope who have provided wise counsel as Deputy Chairman. To Sean Anstee who has transformed the finances of the organisation.

  • History Month
LGBT+ HISTORY MONTH A celebration of LGBT+ History Month by the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber LGBT+ Committee highlighting positive actions and changes over the years The Wolfenden Committee publishes a report recommending that ‘homosexual behaviour between consenting adults in 1957 private should no longer be a criminal offence’. The then Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Geoffrey Fisher, and the British Medical Association backed the recommendation. Despite this, the Conservative Government rejected the recommendations. The Nullity of Marriage Act was passed by the Conservative Government. The Act explicitly banned same-sex marriages in England and 1971 Wales. The House of Commons moves to reduce the age of consent for same-sex relations between men to the age of 16. The vote was defeated and the age of consent was instead 1994 lowered to 18. An age of consent for same-sex relations between women was not set. The age of consent for same-sex relations between men was lowered to 16, having previously been lowered from 21 to 18 in 1994. 2001 The age of consent was now the same for same-sex relations and hetrosexual relations. The Civil Partnership Act 2004 was passed, giving same- sex couples the same rights and responsibilities as married hetrosexual couples in the UK (although in N Ireland same-sex adoption was exempt). 2004 The Gender Recognition Act 2004 gave trans people full legal recognition in their appropriate gender. The Act allows trans people to acquire a new birth certificate. The Marriage (Same-Sex Couples) Act 2013 officially comes into force, with the first saame-sex marriages in England and Wales taking place on 29 March 2014.
