Rules Touring Site for Caravans, Motor Vans and Tents CARLTON MINIOTT PARK - RULES TOURING SITE FOR CARAVANS, MOTOR VANS AND TENTS PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY; IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ADULTS TO SUPERVISE ANY CHILDREN IN THEIR CHARGE SO THAT THE CHILDREN DO NOT RUN THE RISK OF INJURY, AND ALSO ENSURE THAT THE NATURE RESERVE AND ITS ENVIRONMENT ARE NOT DAMAGED. WE NOTICE THAT AN INCREASING NUMBER OF CAMPERS ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE LAKE FOR BOATING AND CANOEING. WE WELCOME THIS AS IT BUILDS SELF RELIANCE IN THE CHILDREN AND IS AN EXCELLENT FAMILY RECREATION. WE MUST STRESS THAT PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF SIXTEEN SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE WATER UNLESS THEY ARE STRONG SWIMMERS OR ARE ACCOMPANIED BY A COMPETENT ADULT. ALL PERSONS MUST WEAR A BUOYANCY AID OR A LIFEJACKET TO BRITISH STANDARD SPECIFICATION. DAY VISITORS. ONLY ONE VEHICLE IS ALLOWED ON THE PITCH AT ANYTIME. VISITORS CARS MUST BE PARKED IN THE PARK AT THE MAIN SECURITY BARRIER. VISITORS WILL BE CHARGED £L,OO PER PERSON IF THEY ARE ON THE SITE MORE THAN ONE HOUR. PERMITS TO FISH ARE AVAILABLE AS UNDER. DAY VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FISH. JUNIORS 12 – 16. DAY TICKET £2.00. SEASONAL PERMIT £25.00. OVER 16. DAY TICKET £4.00. SEASONAL PERMIT £50.00. BE CAREFUL NOT TO FRIGHTEN DUCKS, WATER FOWL AND FARM ANIMALS. PLEASE PROTECT THEM FROM INJURY BY PUTTING DISCARDED FISHING LINE, HOOKS, PLASTIC BAGS (WHICH CAN KILL SHEEP) AND OTHER LITTER IN THE DUSTBINS. ENSURE THE SAFETY AND COMFORT OF ALL SITE USERS BY KEEPING TO THIS AT ALL TIMES. BALL GAMES AND THE FLYING OF KITES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE VICINITY OF THE CARAVAANS AND TENTS. SWING BALLS MUST BE SITED WELL AWAY FROM NEIGHBOURING CAMPERS.. PLEASE ASK THE OWNERS WHERE YOU MAY PLAY BALL GAMES ETC. TOILETS AND SHOWERS. ALL CHILDREN OF FIVE YEARS AND UNDER USING THESE FACILITIES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. ANY CHILDREN FOUND USING TOILET BLOCK AS A PLAY AREA WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE SITE. HOT WATER MUST NOT BE TAKEN FROM THE TOILET BLOCK. PLEASE DO NOT WASH POTS, PANS AND VEGETABLES IN THE BASINS. THERE ARE WASHING UP FACILITIES AT THE SOUTHERN END OF THE TOILET BLOCK. CHEMICAL TOILET DISPOSAL POINT. THIS IS AT THE REAR OF THE TOILET BLOCK AT THE SOUTHERN END UNDER A COVER. CONTENTS OF TOILETS ONLY. NO SOLID MATTER OR ARTICLES OF HYGIENE PLEASE. WASTE WATER MUST BE TIPPED IN THE ADJACENT DISPOSAL POINT. THESE ARE CLEARLY MARKED. PERMANENT GROUNDSHEEETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN AWNINGS. OTHERS SHOULD BE LIFTED DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS CAMPERS ARE ASKED NOT TO DAMAGE THE GRASS. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REQUEST THE RESITING OF TENTS EVERY FOUR DAYS.. DOGS MUST BE ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES ON THE CAMPSITE, AND DOG WASTE MUST BE PICKED UP AND PUT INTO BINS PROVIDED, DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE LAKESIDE CARAVAN PARK. BARBECUES ARE ALLOWED ON THE TOURING SITE, IF YOU ARE USING A DISPOSABLE BARBEQUE PLEASE USE BRICKS AVALABLE FROM RECEPTION TO PREVENT DAMAGING THE GRASS, NO OPEN FIRES ALLOWED.
