The Sodha Traveler October 2012
In recognition of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday on October 2nd, this month we are featuring Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat. Gandhi built his ashram in the outskirts of the city, and Ahmedabad was a major base camp during the Indian freedom struggle. Located on the Sabarmati River in Western India, Ahmedabad is considered one of the most industrialized cities in the country.
