Duration 8.30pm to 9.30pm – Sunday 31 December 2017 Detail A fireworks display will be conducted over navigable waters of the Macleay River. Fireworks will be launched from a moored firing barge at the above location. The area directly around this firing position may be dangerous and hazardous while fireworks are being launched. An EXCLUSION ZONE is specified during the event within a 30 metre radius around the moored barge. This area will be indicated by the presence of control vessels which will be stationed on the boundary. Unauthorised vessels and persons are strictly prohibited from entering the exclusion zone. Vessel operators and persons in the vicinity must keep a proper lookout, exercise caution and keep well clear of the fireworks barge and support vessels. Fireworks will be launched from two firing barges at the above location. The areas directly around these firing positions may be dangerous and hazardous while fireworks are being launched. An EXCLUSION ZONE is specified during the event, and will extend for a radius of 200 metres around the firing barges. This area will be indicated by the presence of control vessels.

Condobolin access to West Wyalong via Gipps Way is open – temporary repairs have been completed on the road. Caution as water remains over the road in a number of locations. Access for high clearance 4wd vehicles less than 3 tonne is available from Condobolin to Tullibigeal, Lake Cargelligo and West Wyalong via SR230 Lachlan Valley Way and SR1029 Tullibigeal Road. Caution as road condition is deteriorating Extra caution is advised as many roads are affected by current flooding or the residual effects from flooding, including soft shoulders, washouts, bog holes, potholes, slippery road surfaces, debris, water on roads and hidden hazards under the water. Conditions can change quickly. More land holders may lose access – make preparations before roads are closed by flooding . Tottenham area – residual damage from flooding, caution is advised: • Tullamore–Narromine road now open to vehicles under 3 tonne – severe road damage. • MR347 Dandaloo Road , Albert-Trangie – open with caution , temporary repairs. • SR3 Tabratong Crossing Road , Tottenham-Nevertire – open with caution , temporary repairs and one lane traffic access.

Glebe Island currently operates as a working industrial port under the management of Ports Authority of NSW (Port Authority). The aggregate handling and concrete batching facility is proposed adjacent to the existing Glebe Island Berth 1 (GLB1) terminal. Aggregate is proposed to be delivered by ship to the GLB1 berth at Glebe Island. This report provides information relating to marine traffic, navigation and safety and outlines any potential maritime safety issues, and measures required to minimise and mitigate any impacts resulting from the proposed development. 2.0 Background The SSDA was submitted to the Department of Planning and Environment (DP&E) in March 2018 and subsequently placed on formal public exhibition for 5 weeks, between 11 April 2018 and 15 May 2018. On 20 August 2018, a Request for Additional Information (RFI) was issued by the DP&E. This report responds to the additional information sought in relation to the maritime traffic, safety and navigation impact assessment (Issues 30 – 32 under Schedule 1) for the new facility at Glebe Island. For the purposes of this SSDA, this statement provides a preliminary navigation impact assessment and outlines the general processes and guidelines in place that governs marine traffic flow within the context of the site at GLB1, Glebe Island and Sydney Harbour.
