Local Plan update

The Regulation 19 consultation on the South Local Plan 2034 closed on Monday 18 February. During the six-week consultation we received 2,592 responses.

The Planning Policy team are now processing these responses and preparing material, including a Regulation 22 Consultation Statement, for submission to the Planning Inspectorate at the end of March.

PopUp Business School coming to Berinsfield

SODC are sponsoring the PopUp Business School which is coming to Berinsfield to give local residents a chance to start up their own business.

From Monday 29 April, the five day workshop is free to anyone with a business idea. Sessions include: how to market a new or existing idea or business, how to use social media to get new customers, and about the legal and tax obligations that they need to complete.

Binzone - waste sorting help

The Waste Team have available Binzone wheels, cardboard discs, which enable you to look up how to recycle or dispose of various types of waste. I am trying to work out how to get one to each household. Those who have seen them seem quite impressed with them!

As you see from the last paragraph, I am trying to work out how to get a Binzone wheel to each household. I may be able to get them delivered with the Benson Bulletin or if not, with the Ewelme News. I will let you know when I know!
