However, a lack of multi-scale studies on intra-urban green space limits our knowledge of human settlement environments in this region. In this study, a synergistic methodology, including the main process of linear spectral decomposition, vegetation-soil-impervious surface area model, and artificial digital technology, was established to generate a multi-scale of green space (i.e., 15-m resolution intra-urban green components and 0.5-m resolution park region) and investigate multi-scale green space characteristics as well as its ecological service in 12 central cities of the Inner Mongolian Plateau.

Until now there are in total 67 of chemical components identified including triterpenoids, steroids, lactones, fats and oils, saccharide and alkaloids. A broad spectrum of pharmacological activity of A. raddeana compounds have been reported, such as antitumor, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, sedative and analgesic activites, as well as anti-convulsant and anti-histamine effects. In view of this, we initiated this short review to present the phytochemical and pharmacological profile of A. raddeana to support future studies in this discipline. 1. Introduction Anemone raddeana Regel is a traditional Chinese medicinal herb belonging to the Anemone genus (Ranunculaceae), which is widely distributed in Russia (Far east), northeast of China, Japan and Korea (Chen et al.

  • Prevalence of Hypertension and Associated Risk Factors in Dehui City of Jilin Province in China
Journal of Human Hypertension (2015) 29,64–68 & 2015 Macmillan Publishers Limited All rights reserved 0950-9240/15 www.nature.com/jhh ORIGINAL ARTICLE Prevalence of hypertension and associated risk factors in Dehui City of Jilin Province in China QWei1,7, J Sun2,7, J Huang3, H-Y Zhou2, Y-M Ding4, Y-C Tao5, S-M He2, Y-L Liu2 and J-Q Niu6 To evaluate the prevalence, awareness, treatment and control of hypertension and its risk factors in Dehui City of Jilin Province in China. The study was performed among 3778 subjects (male ¼ 1787) in Dehui city, Jilin Province of China. The subjects completed a standard questionnaire, biochemical tests and physical examinations. Logistic regression analyses were used to identify risk factors for hypertension. The prevalence of hypertension was 41.00% in this area. The awareness, treatment and the control of hypertension were 21.82, 15.56 and 1.10%, respectively, with city areas being significantly higher than rural areas. Significant risk factors for hypertension included age, sex, central obesity, alcohol consumption, family history of hypertension, dyslipidemia, education level and type of work. Further analysis showed that diabetes for urban participants and cigarette smoking for rural participants were risk factors but were not statistically significant at the multi-variate level. The prevalence of hypertension in Dehui Ctiy of Jilin Province is higher than in other areas of China. In addition, rates of awareness and treatment of the condition are much lower than in other populations, with the control rate only 1.10%. Journal of Human Hypertension (2015) 29, 64–68; doi:10.1038/jhh.2014.32; published online 3 July 2014 INTRODUCTION other areas in Jilin Province.

In this study, the pole-axis system (involving multi-level central places and roads) was recognized as a proxy of direct risk to wetlands stemming from human activities at the regional or watershed scale. In this respect, the pole-axis system and central place theory were adopted to analyze the spatial agglomeration characteristics of regional human activities. Soil erosion and non-point source (NPS) pollution, indicating the indirect effect of human activities on wetlands, were also considered. Based on these human disturbance proxies, which are considered regional risk sources to wetlands, incorporated with another two indicators of regional environment, i.e., vulnerability and ecological capital indexes, the regional ecological risk assessment (RERA) framework of wetlands was finally established. Using this wetland RERA framework, the spatial heterogeneity

We combine the gray correlation analysis and multiple linear regression models to quantitatively predict water supply and demand in different planning years, which provide the basis for quantitative analysis of the WRCC. The selection of research indicators also considers the interaction of social economy, water resources, and water environment. Combined with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, the gray corre- lation analysis and multiple linear regression models to quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate the WRCC under different social development plans.
