6th and 7th grade Science Our 6th graders recently dissected owl pellets to study digestion in different types of God’s creatures. It is amazing to see what you actually find inside a pellet. The students really enjoyed the activity. Our 7th graders also did a dissection recently. They dissected a sheep heart. The human heart and a sheep heart are fairly similar in size and shape. The sheep heart is slightly smaller. The students handled the dissection very well.
