Present Synoptic Condition: A trough in westerlies between 1.5 & 3.1 km above mean sea level runs roughly along Longitude87°Eto the north of Latit ude 23°N. 24-05-2020 Orange Warnings: Very heavy rainfall at isolated places is very likely over  Baksa district of Assam.  East Siang and Lower Dibang Valley Anjaw, Lohit, Namsai Changlang Triap & Longding districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Yellow warnings: Heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places is very likely over Barpeta and Bongaigaon districts of Assam. Heavy rainfall at isolated places is very likely over  Lower Subansiri, Papumpar, West Siang, Lower Siang, Uppar Siang, & Dibang Valley districts of Arunachal Pradesh.  Dhubri, South Salmara, Goalpara, Kokrajhar, Chirang, Nalbari, Kamrup (R), Kamrup Metro, Morigaon, Nagaon, Hojai Sonitpur, Bishwanath, Jorhat, Majuli, Sibsagar, Lakhimpur, and Dhemaji districts of Assam.
