APRIL 7-9, 2017 GPLB.COM 1 2 TOYOTA GRAND PRIX OF LONG BEACH Dear Members of the Media: Welcome to the Roar by the Shore…the 43rd Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. We've designed this media guide to assist you throughout the weekend, whether it be to reference historical data, information on this year's event or information and statistics on our six weekend races. It also includes a section on transportation, hotels and restaurants to make your stay in Long Beach more efficient and enjoyable. Our three-day weekend is packed with activities on and off the track. In addition to the racing, two concerts will take place: on Friday night at 6:45 p.m., the Tecate Light Fiesta Friday concert will feature popular Mexican rock band "Moderatto," while on Saturday night, "SMG Presents Kings of Chaos Starring Billy Idol, Billy Gibbons and Chester Bennington" will entertain the Grand Prix crowd at the Rock-N-Roar Concert. The Lifestyle Expo, located in the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, will see more than 180,000 Grand Prix fans walk through multiple times. Our annual media luncheon takes place on Thursday, April 6, and will feature drivers from many of the racing series that will be here over the weekend. He led 491 of the 500 laps. • Dodge has started from the pole at Dover seven of the last 13 times qualifying has taken place. The pole winners were Newman (4), Jeremy Mayfield (2) and Rusty Wallace (1). • Dodge’s Kurt Busch is one of only three drivers to have scored top-five finishes at both Dover races last year (Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth). THE DODGE BOYS • Dodge has 206 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victories. • Dodge’s most recent win came at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Kurt Busch led 129 laps en route to victory in the Kobalt Tools 500. • Dodge claimed four Sprint Cup Series victories in 2009. • Dodge teams have posted 46 wins since the manufacturer’s return to NASCAR’s premier series in 2001 after being out of the sport since 1977. • Dodge has posted wins each season since it’s return in 2001 including seven wins twice (2002 and 2006). DOVER NUGGETS • Kurt Busch made his NASCAR Sprint Cup debut at Dover in 2000. He started 10th and finished 18th in the fall event. He also competed in the Craftsman Truck Series event that weekend, posting a victory in his only start in a truck at ‘The Monster Mile’. -

Current Version: June 9, 2021 2021 Race Event and Year-End Awards Guide Introduction Current February 24, 2021 With this presentation, you will be introduced to the ARCA Corporate Partners and Participating Manufacturers Contingency Awards Program. The 2021 Corporate Partners and Participating Manufacturers Contingency Program is the Series Prize Money and Decal Program, the contingency program which allows sponsors to support the drivers, team members, and car owners with per race and year end awards. The 2021 Corporate Partners and Participating Manufacturers Contingency Program rewards teams and drivers for displaying sponsor decals, and for utilizing sponsor products and services. Sponsor representation includes display of decal, and presence in victory lane, plus the opportunity to integrate components into the core of the sport. All Posted Awards and Point Fund earnings won by any team member (driver, crew chief, etc.) shall be paid by ARCA (or Sponsoring Entity), to the registered/entered team owner via ACH transfer of funds. Any participant earning points or winning specific awards as a team member for more than one team/owner in a single season shall have all awards payable to team owner(s) based on the number of race points/awards earned per team. The team owner, and not ARCA, shall be solely responsible for the distribution of such Posted Awards to the respective team member. This shall also apply to Year-End and Point Fund Awards unless otherwise specified. 1 Eligibility requirements for Owner Point Fund are: • Display ARCA MENARDS SERIES, ARCA, Menards, Bounty, Richmond, Reese's, Sunoco, K&N Filters, Sioux Chief and Valvoline decal on both sides of car • General Tire Decal above front wheel wells, both sides of car, rear of spoiler and front of car, both sides (see page 7). -

He began racing himself, as an amateur, in 1953. His cars visited race circuits from Nassau to California, and he did well. In 1966 he hung up his goggles and turned full attention to the race car importing business he had founded two years earlier as a part-time enterprise that quickly became a full-time occupation. His business acumen was evident early, in his choices of the right equipment to bring into North America for a growing competitor market, and in the proper method of making that equipment available to his customers. -more- CARL A. Although the coupe is arguably more iconic, the open version of the T70 was more successful. Developed in 1965, the Group 7 machine could take a number of di erent V8 engines and was ideal for the inaugural Can-Am contest in ʼ66.
