The Chairman began by summarizinG the Parish Council’s brief on this issue. North Yorkshire County Council has received an application for a Definitive Map Modification Order to chanGe the status of the route from The Forge / Forge Cottage in Fangdale Beck throuGh to the B1257 at Low Mill. The route is currently partly a bridleway, partly an Unclassified Unsurfaced Road and partly a footpath. The application is to chanGe the entire route to Restricted Byway status. Interested parties includinG neiGhbourinG landowners and also the Parish Council have been invited to submit evidence that miGht assist NYCC in reviewinG the application.
