Ballot for the Assistant

The three candidates are listed below. There is a picture and a brief bio for each one. Please vote by ranking your top 2 candidates with 1 for your first choice and 2 for your second choice. When the ballots are counted, if no candidate gets a majority of votes, the candidate with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated. If you selected the eliminated candidate as your first choice, your ballot will then be counted towards your second choice.

____ Rabbi Yitzi Shulman Rabbi Shulman came here on Feb. 19-20 He is a graduate of Mesifta Torah Tememah, Mir Yerushalayim, Ner Le’elef, and the where he received his rabbinic ordination and training under Rabbi Berkowitz. He currently resides in White Plains where he is the rabbi for a community outreach program. He is married and has three children. He spoke Friday night on the topic of: Love of Self and Neighbor: Striking a Balance.

____ Rabbi Sariel Malitzky Rabbi Malitzky came here on Feb. 26-27. He is a graduate of Yeshivat Ohr Yerushalayim, and University. He received his rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary in 2008. He is currently a Rebbi and assistant director of recruitment at Torah Academy of Bergen County where he has taught since 2007. He also founded and is director of Camp Slapshots. He is married and has 5 children. He spoke Shabbos afternoon on the topic of: Lessons from a Mute.

____ Rabbi Yitzchak Brand Rabbi Brand came here on Mar. 4-5. He is a graduate of Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh, and Yeshiva University. He received his rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary in 2012. He is currently a rebbi at the Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School. He also teaches math and physics. He is married and has three children. He spoke Friday night on the topic of: Hotspot or not-spot: Unauthorized Use of Wireless in Halacha and Hashkafa.
