The UC Theatre, Berkeley, CA Marketing Director • January 2015 – February 2016 Developed and managed the marketing, social media & PR department and managed fundraising events for a new non-profit, 1400-seat live music venue in downtown Berkeley. Oversaw the launch of the website and social media channels, managed volunteers and staff.

Tuff Gong Worldwide/ Ziggy Marley, Los Angeles, CA Marketing & Project Management Consultant • July - December 2012 Reported to the President/CEO, was responsible for the successful management and completion of several projects and marketing campaigns for Grammy-winning musician Ziggy Marley and his father, ; including: • CDs, DVDs, e-books, a national tour, website re-development, merchandise, and a ZM- branded organic food line. • Served as Product Manager for Ziggy’s Grammy-winning live album Ziggy Marley In Concert, which was #1 on the iTunes Reggae Chart in Dec 2012. • Engaged brand loyalists by managing content on the Bob Marley Facebook page, identifying the most relevant messaging to communicate to 41 million Facebook fans.

CBS Records, Los Angeles, CA VP Marketing • April 2008-February 2012 Under the supervision of Larry Jenkins (EVP/GM, manager of T Bone Burnett), created and managed multimedia marketing campaigns for album releases, artist appearances, network promotions and industry events. • Worked cross-functionally across the CBS Television network and developed strong relationships with executives in Radio, Interactive, Programming and Legal to successfully promote music on several top-rated TV shows, including NCIS, Hawaii Five-O and 90210. • Served as Product Manager for the official NCIS-TV soundtrack, which sold over 100,000 units.

IRIS Distribution, San Francisco, CA Director of Marketing/Account Executive • March 2007 - March 2008 Developed and launched an in-house digital marketing division and managed key label accounts. • Created multichannel digital marketing campaigns for releases by Le Tigre, Mogwai, She Wants Revenge and Lou Reed. • Managed several top label accounts, including Megaforce (Bad Brains), Scion AV (Ghostface Killah, Ninja Tune (Amon Tobin), and Surfdog Records (Brian Setzer).

Kill Rock Stars, Olympia, WA Director of Marketing • April 2004 - December 2006 Directed marketing and promotional efforts for leading independent record label. • Created successful press, radio and tour marketing campaigns for breakthrough releases by The Gossip and The Decemberists, resulting in sales of over 100,000 units for each band. • Produced industry events (SXSW, CMJ, NoisePop, PopKomm, MIDEM). • Served as label representative and Co-Chair of the American Association of Independent Music’s Northwest chapter.

San Francisco Jazz Festival, San Francisco, CA Public Relations Director, Interim Marketing Director • June 2002 - January 2004 In collaboration with the Executive Director, created and managed all aspects of PR and marketing for 200+ performances in a variety of venues in San Francisco, including the Herbst Theatre, the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre, Grace Cathedral, the Embarcadero Center/Justin Herman Plaza, and Levi’s Plaza. • Managed the launch of the SFJAZZ Collective, featuring Josh Redman. • Directed marketing/PR campaigns for 3 seasonal music festivals per year with an annual attendance of 100k+. • Managed a $1M+ advertising and marketing campaign for organization’s 20th Anniversary. • Produced a public event for 15k attendees at Justin Herman Plaza (Dec 2003).
