A for - mer University of Southern Indiana standout, Gouard was named the new UIndy coach April 3, 2008 after a three-year stint as an assistant coach at Indiana State University. He served in that capacity for the Greyhounds from 2002-05. Brown was most recently an assistant coach at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tenn. In three seasons with the Railsplitters, Brown dealt with all facets of coaching including recruiting, implementing on-court schemes, film exchange and scouting opponents in addition to directing Brown’s File individual workout sessions.
