DATES Brief: Design three TYPE BASED book covers in a series. Your challenge is to create a visual system* that unifies all three covers in the series. The design on each cover should relate Intro S/27 to the subject matter of the book. The imagery does not necessarily have to relate to the other covers in your series because your visual system will unify the work. The sky's the book synopses, limit! Create a title page, preface/table of contents and chapter open- ing page for one of the novels that you redesigned earlier in the semester.

Your goals are to: 1) break the norm of book design (norm= boring) 2) make your design reflect some aspect of the novel or genre of novels 3) pay special attention to type size, leading, justification, punctuation, hyphenation, hierarchy, balance, legibility and spatial relationships. your end product should be refined and elegant.

You are required to use InDesign. You are encouraged to use style sheets.
