Eric Maher is a professional wrestler who has held championships all over the world, most recently as the superstar known as Impact Wrestling’s “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards. Born outside of Boston, where he still lives today, Eric grew up the middle child of three boys. A fan of wrestling since his childhood, it wasn’t until his sophomore year in high school that his passion for the business really took off. He received his training from the legendary Killer Kowalski, and went on to live and train in Japan as part of Pro Wrestling Noah. With the support of his family, Eric has battled career threatening injuries to become the only person to ever hold the IMPACT WRESTLING, RING OF HONOR, and GHC world heavyweight championships. He is a former two-time TNA X Division Champion, five-time World Tag Team Champion, and two-time ROH World Tag Team Champion. As “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards, Eric Maher is the first ROH Triple Crown winner in history, and the only man to win the triple crown in both TNA & Ring of Honor. While not always being the strongest or fastest man in the ring, Eric has proven he has the biggest heart. He has proven the critics wrong while living his motto, “Anything is possible.”
MARK POULTON, CO-WRITER & ILLUSTRATOR Mark Poulton is a writer/artist who has worked for DC Comics, Image Comics, and Arcana Studio. It was recently adapted as an animated short for Top Buzz starring DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’s Kiefer O’Reilly as Haiku and Mark as Haiku’s owner.
