A young delinquent, well known to the police, is on trial for the brutal murder of his aggressive father.

Witnesses have testified as to what they have seen and heard, the physical evidence has been presented and final presentations have been made.

The judge has instructed the jurors of their solemn task: if they believe, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the defendant is guilty of murder then they must find him guilty. If, however, there is any doubt in their minds TWELVE whatsoever then they must find him innocent. In a capital murder case, the punishment under the law is the sentence of ANGRY MEN death....
