November 2016 Ludwigsburg MHP Arena Gäste: Killswitch Engage, Cane Hill Seit Veröffentlichung ihres Debütalbums „The Poison“ im Jahr 2005 zählen BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE zu den bedeutendsten Vertretern des internationalen Metalcore. Doch der Sound des Quartetts aus dem walisischen Bridgend reicht weiter: Versatzstücke aus den unterschiedlichsten Metal- Spielarten werden zu einer unvergleichlichen, stets aufregenden, brachialen und doch melodiösen Einheit verbunden. Nach ihrer vielumjubelten Welt-Tournee 2013/14, in deren Rahmen sie auch für insgesamt 14 ausverkaufte Shows in Deutschland gastierten, begannen die Arbeiten am Nachfolger „Venom“, ihrem global bislang erfolgreichsten Album, das im vergangenen August erschien und in die Top Ten fast aller bedeutenden Länder stieg, darunter England, Deutschland und die USA. Seither tourt die Band wieder um die Welt und kommt am 15. November nach Ludwigsburg in die MHP Arena. Special Guests dieser Aufsehen erregenden Tournee sind die US-Metal-Kollegen KILLSWITCH ENGAGE sowie Cane Hill. Es war ein weiter Weg für BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE bis zu ihrem ersten Album – zwischen Bandgründung und Veröffentlichung von „The Poison“ lagen sieben Jahre, die das Quartett aus Wales nutzte, um einen höchst eigenständigen, homogenen Sound zu entwickeln. Ausgehend vom Metalcore, binden die vier virtuosen Musiker Elemente aus Thrash und Heavy Metal, Hardrock und Speed Metal in ihren Klangkosmos ein. Entsprechend euphorisch wurden sie von den Fans aufgenommen, als ihnen der Start in eine internationale Karriere gelang.
