Bishop, Reams said, wanted it known that he needed more and better quality space, not only to house his operation but also to conform with voting laws. ECB Publishing Inc. The White Sox win, 3-1 MLB.COM Reds take star HS RHP Greene at No. 2 By Mark Sheldon / MLB.com | @m_sheldon | 3:33 AM ET + 100 COMMENTS CINCINNATI -- Pitcher Hunter Greene was arguably the best prospect available in the 2017 Draft, and with the No. 2 overall selection Monday, the Reds selected him out of Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Ranked by MLBPipeline.com as the No. 1 Draft prospect in the class, the right-handed Greene has a fastball that has shown 102 mph on the radar gun. He is already a national phenomenon, and appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated earlier this spring. "I spent the last couple of months worrying that we weren't picking high enough to get him," Reds general manager Dick Williams said. "I'm really thrilled that we were able to get him at No. 2." • Reds' 32nd overall: Jeter Downs • Reds' 38th overall: Stuart Fairchild Greene attended the Draft at MLB Network studios and did not have to waste a moment to put on a Reds jersey and cap while meeting MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred. "This is just a once-in-a-lifetime experience where I get to go out and start my career and have a blast with a great ballclub and a great group of guys," Greene said. The Reds selected Greene as a pitcher, but he's also a shortstop and could be a rare dynamic two-way player.

Malcolm Ward (52-59, Pa) Died on 21st August, 2020, aged 76 Good friend and contemporary, Clive Adams, received the following from Malcolm’s daughter, Kirsty. Malcolm left school and trained initially as a mechanical engineer, but quite soon, his early interest in cars and motorcycles developed into a passion for aviation. He went on to train as an aircraft engineer, working at Sywell, Cranfield and Boscombe Down during the 1960s and early 70s. His passion for aviation continued throughout his career, although he moved into sales and consultative roles within the industry in later years. He never did relish the thought of retirement and was working until only a few weeks before he died, always enjoying the challenge of a new project. Malcolm’s career and hobbies were closely aligned. After initially being involved in flying gliders, he went on to gain his private pilot’s license and flew regularly from Brimpton Airfield, near his home in South Oxfordshire. However, not entirely satisfied with this, he decided that he would like to learn aerobatics as he entered his early 70s. He was proud to have completed this rating just over a year ago and had been looking forward to flying solo. He was also rarely without a classic motorcycle to care for and ride, in which he also took great pleasure. Malcolm will be greatly missed by family and friends and in particular his partner Jill, daughter Kirsty, and grandsons Jack and Tom. Clive Adams (52-59, Pa) sent through his own thoughts about his lifelong friend: “I heard recently that my great friend and ex Wellingborough School pupil, Malcolm Ward had died.

I n seeking to derive the maximum enjoyment from our leisure hours, we look for an escape route free from the turbulence which features this day and age. Yet is it realistic to believe that we can put aside the attitudes nurtured and developed during the other 6V2 days in the week in order that Saturday afternoons may be spent free from the tensions built up in everyday life? There is plenty of evidence to suggest that many people find it difficult to adjust from one environment to the other.
