2 Introduction

At the request of Tres-Or Resources this summary and initial compilation of assessment reports and government data covering the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim block has been prepared. The scope of the report was first to determine what data is available, second to acquire, organize, catalog and map the available digital data and third to make this data available to Tres-Or geologists in usable format.

In late 2003 Tres-Or acquired 192 claims in the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord area of approximately 600 km north of Toronto. These claims along with 440 claims (approximately 5000 claim units) in the Temagmi and Temagmi North form an 88,000 hectare land position in the Timiskaming Kimberlite region. The company's focus is on the diamond potential of the area with the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claims covering at least three known kimberlites including the Guigues Kimberlite, the first discovered in the region by Monpros in 1981, and

At present Tres-Or is conducting a diamond drill program on the Notre-Dame-du-Nord license targeted on discovering new kimberlite or other diamond bearing formations. This program follows an airborne geophysical survey and geochemical sampling carried out in late 2003. This report and future GIS compilation will assist future exploration by utilizing information from over 30 previous exploration programs from the past 40 years.

As with most areas of Canada, mineral exploration has historically been conducted on small claim areas with little correlation between claims to produce a regional understanding. The Tres-Or Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim block has been subjected to an estimated 30 earlier exploration projects. To create a regional picture, Tres-Or plans to use historical data and GIS to develop an integrated GIS mineral information database of the Notre-Dame-Du-Notre and Temagmi areas of Ontario.

3 To search and acquire this data, extensive use has been made of the E-Sigeom website of the Ministère des Ressources naturelles, de la Faune et des Parcs. This comprehensive website provides online access to a variety of Quebec mineral exploration data available at a reasonable expense. The major project components obtained from E-Sigeom were data related to assessment file, claims location and government compilations.

The online search identified 159 reports that cover, intersect or are located within the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim blocks. Of these reports 58 were available in PDF format for download or shipment on CD. The remaining files are still paper and microfiche based and could not be ordered given the time frame of the report. The remaining files will be obtained and integrated digitally with report and GIS in the future.

Cataloging these assessment files shows that previous exploration in the Notre-Dame- I)u-Nord area can be characterized by two eras divided by the 1981 discovery of the Guigues Kimberlite in Guigues Township by Monopros. Exploration prior to 1981 focused on the area's recognized platinum, nickel, copper and gold potential of the southern belt of the Angliers-Belleterre volcano-sedimentary unit.

Since the Guigues Kimberlite discovery, exploration has been predominately for diamonds with only a couple of programs focusing on base and precious minerals. Some companies have hedged there exploration programs by logging and sampling drill holes based on multiple targets.

As a result of the file acquisition and study a series of digital spreadsheets and maps have been compiled for this report. The complied data focuses on previous drilling and the locations of ground geophysics. This data represents only a portion of the data available and its potential value. Continued acquisition of historical data and compilation should be valuable asset to the overall program. In addition, future work should not be restricted to the claim areas, but be expanded to give a regional picture and for potential future acquisitions.

4 Property Location and Description

Property Access

The Notre-dame-Du-Nord license area is located around the Quebec town of the same name approximately 600km north of Toronto, and 520 km northwest of Montreal. The general area can be accessed by highway, being just 20km east of Trans-Canada Highway 11. Regular scheduled flights to local centres Timmins, Rouyn-Noranda and North Bay are available.

Access is extremely good throughout the project area. The Lake Timiskaming region, supports an active agricultural population, and paved and gravel road access to all portions of the project is excellent. The town of Notre-Dame-Du-Nord, Quebec is in the geographic centre of the project and Ville Marie is to the south. The major mining centres of Timmins to the northwest, Rouyn-Noranda to the north, and the Tri-Towns (New Liskeard - Haileybury - Cobalt) to the west offer excellent support to exploration programs, and in addition, a trained workforce for future mine operations.

5 Property Description

As of February 10, 2004 the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim group consists of 192 claims covering 8,134 hectares. The claims are located in four townships Baby, Guerin, Guigues and Nedelec. Tres-Or Resources acquired a 100% interest in 180 of the Claims in an agreement with vendors Norman McBride and Phil Brown in September 2003. The remaining 12 claims were staked by Tres-Or. The 192 claims are listed in Table 1. In addition to these claims Tres-Or Resources has been granted the right to explore on the Timiskaming First Nation territory lands which are contiguous and adjacent to some of the existing claims. The claim locations are shown on Map C following this page and on Map 1 attached separately to this report.

12 Regional Geology

The Tres-Or, Norte-Dame-du-Nord claims lie in the Archean Superior Province of the Canadian Shield. The volcano-sedimentary belt of Angliers-Belleterre, which includes the property, consists of rocks which are typical of the Abitibi Super Group within the Superior Province. These rocks have been intruded by large masses and quantities of (Archean) gabbroic and trondhjemitic rocks; including small plugs, sills and dykes of felsic and gabbroic composition.

The northern portion of the property covering Claim blocks A, B, C and the north and east parts of block D and E (see Map 2) are predominantly underlain by metasedimentary rocks of the Pontiac Group of the Angliers-Belleterre belt. The Pontiac group trends in a southwest to northeast direction with micaceous schists of the Group being the primary lithology of Blocks A through C and the northwest corner of Block D. The south and east portions of claim blocks D and E are underlain by dirty wacke sediments and intruded by a Late Achean granitic to granodioritic pluton. The Pontiac group is represented by a relatively uniform response on regional magnetic maps, with the pluton seen as a circular magnetic high on regional magnetic surveys.

These Pontiac group rocks are overlain in claim block F and in the south and east portions of block D and E by basaltic volcanic lithologies of the Baby Group. The entire region is intruded by numerous intermediate to mafic dykes and bodies. The mafic volcanic rocks are locally sheared and associated with alteration minerals, including magnetite.

With respect to economic potential the property is located in an area recognized for its platinum, nickel, copper and gold potential. The southern belt of the Angliers- Belleterre volcano-sedimentary unit is well mineralized with numerous gold, copper

13 and nickel showings including the former gold producer at Belleterre and copper/nickel producer at Latulipe. The Midrim Cu-Ni deposit lies to the southeast of the property in center of Baby Township and has reserves of 380,000 tons grading 0.7% Cu, and 0.46% Ni, with significant background values of platinum and palladium, including several high-grade drill intersections.

In regards to diamond exploration, the Tres-Or claims covers a section of the Timiskaming portion of the Lake Timiskaming Structural Zone (LTSZ), a deep-seated northwest trending structure that hosts not only the Timiskaming kimberlite cluster, but also the Attawapiskat, Kyke Lake and Kirkland Lake kimberlite clusters to the north, and several dykes to the south. The kimberlites are the youngest rocks in the area, and with the Guigues pipe dated at 140 million years.

14 Regional Quaternary Geology

The basal till in the area has been correlated with the Matheson Till, which was deposited during the Late Wisconsinan. The regional southward ice flow direction which was developed during the peak of glaciation, is not documented very strongly in the area east of Lake Timiskaming. Instead, southeasterly (130° - 170°; rarely trending 90°) ice flow indicators dominate this area, produced during deglaciation when the Laverlochere Moraine was deposited by a small ice lobe centred on the Upper Lake Timiskaming valley. East of the Laverlochere Moraine, south-southwestward ice flow directions indicators are evident.

Directly following the retreat of the Late Wisconsinan ice, Glacial Lake Barlow occupied the upper Lake Timiskaming basin. This was approximately 10,000 years before present. At this time water levels were controlled by a narrow bedrock gorge of the known as the Rankin Constriction, located 5 kilometres east of Mattawa . Continued flooding of the isostatically depressed Timiskaming basin occurred during deglaciation, until isostatic recovery caused water levels to recede. The Late Temiscamingue phase of Lake Barlow occupied the Timiskaming basin at levels just above the present day lake levels from 9000 to 8200 years Before present.

As a result, glaciolacustrine sediments drape the irregular surface of the underlying till and icecontact units, producing a relatively flat-lying to gently rolling topography. Overburden thickness is variable, ranging from 5 to 20 metres in areas adjacent to bedrock-dominated terrain and up to 50 metres in the area of thick clay cover. The stratigraphy of the overburden normally consists of up to several metres of basal till, overlain by a thick glaciolacustrine unit which fines upwards from sand, to rhythmically Laminated silt and clay, to massive silt at the surface. Lower areas, local depressions and paleovalleys are normally filled by a similar, but thicker stratigraphy.

15 An extensive moraine system (Laverlochere Moraine?) trends northwest-southeast across northern Guigues Township in numerous parallel segments. One segment trends southeast from the north shore of Baie Paulson on Lac Temiscamingue for over 6 kilometres, a second segment trends south-southeast from the central portion of Baie Paulson at Highway 101 for 4 kilometres, and a third segment trends southeast from Highway 391 to the north shore of Lac Baby. These moraines consist of thick deposits of poorly to well-sorted stratified sand and gravel.

16 Summary Methodology

This report has been produced with extensive use of the E-Sigeom website of the Ministère des Ressources naturelles, de la Faune et des Parcs. This comprehensive website provides online access to a variety of Quebec mineral exploration data available at a reasonable expense. The major project components obtained from E-Sigeom were data related to assessment file claims location and government compilations.

The initial step was to obtain an up to date map of Tres-Or claim locations from the Sigeom title search. A GIS shape file of the claims was downloaded from the Sigeom website for a nominal fee. Secondly a series of online searches based on the townships and NTS maps sheets related to the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord license area were carried out. Again for a nominal fee the Sigeom — a la carte system allows the download GIS shape files containing the locations and database information of assessment files.

This resulted in hundreds of potential assessment files with a high degree of overlap. Using GIS software the assessment files were queried versus the claim locations and a GIS map file and spreadsheet of assessment files related to the claims was produced. These resultant files have been used in multiple methods in the production of this report.

The resulting files contained data on 159 assessment and government reports with direct reference to the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim group (See Table 2). These files can be divided into two general groups, 1) point file reports related to drill hole locations and descriptions and 2) area file reports describing geophysical, geochemical and geological surveys. The generated GIS file allowed the mapping of both sets of files relative to the claims, resulting in maps showing historic drill holes, geological surveys and ground geophysical coverage of the claims.

The assessment files are presently available from the Quebec in three formats microfiche, paper and digital PDF format for download or shipment on CD. The availability in digital format is related to the age and past access requests. The text of digital reports and drill logs is available online, while maps had to be shipped on CD-

17 ROM due to file size. Of the 159 identified files, 58 were available in digital format and could be acquired in the time frame of the report. The remaining paper copies should be acquired and integrated digitally in future phases of GIS development.

The GIS shape file of point data contained the locations of drill holes related to assessment reports which was combined with a government drill hole compilation file to create a more complete drill hole reference for the license area. This new file contained location and other information for 131 drill holes previously drilled on the Notre-Dame- Du-Nord license area. A study of the drill hole database and available reports resulted in a determination of the assumed target of most drill holes.

It is seen in this drill data that the exploration in the region can be divided into distinct periods, separated by the 1981 discovery of Guigues kimberlite by MonoPros. Prior to this discover the drill targets were base and precious minerals and since the kimberlite discovery the majority of the exploration has been diamond targeted. For the Tres-Or diamond exploration it would be useful in a second phase to study pre 1981 drill logs for intersections that may refer to kimberlites or similar formations.

Maps displaying the drill holes overlain on the regional geology and airborne geophysics were produced for this report. In addition, similar maps showing the areas of ground geophysical coverage based on the assessment file data are attached to this report.

This ground geophysical coverage is another result of the comparison of the local assessment files versus the claim areas. The GIS shape file produced from the comparison resulted in a file that displayed the locations of previous ground geophysical surveys in polygon form. During the next phase of this project these maps will be converted to digital format and geo referenced into the GIS, creating a single claim area ground geophysical map.

24 Previous Exploration

This report is based on previous exploration data obtained through the E-Sigeom website of the Ministère des Ressources naturelles, de la Faune et des Parcs. The files identified in the E- Sigeom search represent the majority of the exploration work carried out on the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim group over the past 40 years. In discussions with Tres-Or geologist familiar with the area there may be that some exploration that has been carried out and not filed, as these companies let the claims lapse.

The resultant 159 assessment files represent some 30 different exploration projects in the area over the past 40 years. This represents considerable expense and effort that can be used as basis for future exploration. These programs were often carried out in geological i'.solation and without detailed knowledge of adjacent claims, creating an opportunity for the organization that complies and uses the complication results.

This report is largely the summarization of available data with some preliminary compilation and review of previous drill holes and areas of ground geophysical surveys.

Previous Drilling

In the past 40 years 131 drill holes were completed on the Tres-Or Notre-Dame-Du-Nord clam blocks, plus a further 200 plus drill holes within a few kilometers of the claims. The previous drill holes drilled within the claim block are listed in table 3 along with the year of drilling, drill target and company submitting the drilling for assessment. It should be rioted that additional drill hole may previously drilled with in the claim boundaries, but riot mapped into the E-Sigeom assessment file list or on the Quebec government compilation list. Reasons for missing drill holes include drill hole locations based on a grid system, rather than in real earth coordinates and drill holes reports not submitted for assessment. The first can be recovered and added through a detailed study of all previous work.

25 From study of the available online data it can be determined that drilling is divided into two periods separated by the 1981 discovery of the Guigues Kimberlite by Monopros. Prior to this discovery, 37 drill holes had been drilled by 5 companies targeting the area's copper, gold, nickel and platinum potential.

With its discovery of the Guigues Kimberlite, Monopros drilled a number of holes including 66 holes that fall within the Tres-Or claims. Of the remaining 28 drill holes by 8 companies post the 1981 discovery, the majority were targeted on diamonds. This includes 4 holes by KWG Spider and 5 holes by Canabrava on the two kimberlitic bodies NDN#1 and NDN#2, together known as the Troika Pipe located in Block C of the Tres-Or claims, along the border with Ontario.

The 131 drill holes are shown on maps of the regional geology (Map 3) and regional airborne geophysics (Map 4) attached to this report.

Previous Ground Geophysics

The Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim blocks have been covered by a number of ground geophysics surveys conducted over the last 40 years. The GIS files downloaded from E- Sigeom shows the coverage areas of these surveys as polygons. This allows the mapping of the previous ground geophysical surveys in relationship to the claim blocks and regional geology (Map 5). From this mapping it can be see that approximately 75% of the claim area has been covered by previous surveys. From the reports and coverage areas it is evident that many of these surveys have been completed in isolation with no reference or access to previous surveys. This represents an opportunity for Tres-Or to utilize GIS technology to compile these surveys and allow the Tres-Or geophysical professionals to outline the anomalies of all surveys into a single map.

26 This would involve the geo referencing into the GIS of digital copies of each geophysical surveys. As many of the maps are still only available in hard copy, scanning would necessary.

The next step in this process is to georeference into the GIS, digital copies of each survey. This would allow the Tres-Or geophysical professionals to outline the anomalies of all surveys into a single map.

33 Conclusions and Recommendations

This report is an initial examination of assessment data available on the Tres-Or Notre- Dame-Du-Nord claim blocks. As discussed in the report some 30 previous exploration programs have been carried on the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim blocks. Through the process of acquisition and summarization of the assessment data it is evident that this historical data is relevant to the present exploration program. By integrating the data into the planned GIS mineral information database a consistent and usable exploration tool will be developed for the Tres-Or staff.

][n the future the examination of assessment data should be expanded to include surrounding areas with special focus on the areas of the Timiskaming First Nation territory lands that Tres-Or has the right to explore. This regional information will also assist any plans for future staking and acquisition.

The first step towards the development of this exploration tool was completed during the production of this report. The assessment files that focus on the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim blocks have been searched, listed and the file locations mapped. In total 159 files were identified and the 59 files available as digital data have been acquired.

A portion of this digital data has been converted into Mapinfo GIS files for the production of the accompanying maps and tables. This includes a spreadsheet of drill hole data and location maps of previous drilling and ground geophysics surveys. Further work on drill holes should include acquiring detail logs, geochemistry and diamond indicator counts, creating a database of this information for integration with the drill locations in the GIS.

Similarly the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim blocks have been covered by a number of ground geophysics surveys conducted over the last 40 years. Many have been done in isolation from the results of other organizations. It is recommended that these surveys be converted to digital image format, georeferenced and imported into a GIS. Geophysical anomalies from many surveys can then be mapped onto single map. 'The acquisition and integration of the remaining data is a future project for the Tres-or staff as the company possesses the in-house skills required to develop and maintain this regional GIS mineral information database. The use of this exploration tool along with newly acquired data will assist the Tres-Or staff in making more accurate drill target predictions.

Based on the examination of the assessment data it is further recommended that future exploration while focused on diamonds take into account the base and precious metal potential on the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord area.

List of Recommended Work

As only the available digital data covering the Notre-Dame-Du-Nord claim blocks was acquired for this report it is recommended that a selection of the available hard copy data be acquired, scanned and compiled into GIS files created during this report preparation.

Complete a review and reinterpretation of drill holes completed on base and precious metal targets for reference to possible kimberlitic or lamprophyric formations.

Complete a review and reinterpretation of diamond targeted drill holes for base and precious metal related formations. This may not be a Tres-Or exploration target, but the data is part of the package and base or precious targets can be joint venture opportunities.

Georeference ground and airborne geophysical maps into GIS files and allow the Tres-Or geophysical professionals to outline the anomalies of all surveys into a single map.

Georeference rock and soil geochemical surveys into a GIS file for review and study as a single regional map.

Georeference geological mapping surveys into a GIS file for review and study as a single regional map.

Repeat process on surrounding areas including — Timiskaming First Nation territory lands — The rest of Baby, Guerin, Guigues and Nedelec townships. — Larger region including Temagmi and Temagmi North claim blocks
