Nivel recomendado: B2/C1 (MCER). Duración: 3 horas. Dinámica: estudiantes adultos de cursos generales de ELE, diversidad de lenguas y culturas de origen, grupo de 10 alumnos (recomendado). Materiales: vídeos de peteneras, letras de las canciones, fotografías, fichas y textos informativos. 72 1. CONTENIDOS SOBRE LA VARIACIÓN LINGÜÍSTICA Y/O CULTURALEN ESTA ACTIVIDAD SE TRABAJARÁN LOS DOS TIPOS DE VARIACIÓN: – Variación cultural: existencia de variación musical y folclórica en el mundo hispano: algunos géneros. En concreto, la petenera flamenca y la petenera mexicana (huasteca). Música, letras y temas. – Variación lingüística: algunos rasgos fonéticos del español de Andalucía y del español de México. Actividad 1 Activar los conocimientos sobre música popular de España y México. Esta acti- vidad se realizará en dos fases: primero, se responderá individualmente al cuestio- nario y, después, se comparan las respuestas en pequeños grupos (3 o 4 alumnos). Ficha 1 Solución y retroalimentación: comprobación y comentarios en el pleno de la clase, con ampliación de información. Actividad 2 Concretar ideas y conocimientos a través de la identificación y comentario de imágenes. Los alumnos, en parejas preferentemente, intentarán descubrir el país o zona de origen de las fotos, poniéndoles un título adecuado, independientemente de si saben o no de que género se trata en cada caso. -

Historical Background Lesson 3 The Historical Influences… How They Arrived in Argentina and Where the Dances’ Popularity is Concentrated Today The Chacarera History: WHAT INFLUENCES MADE THE CHACARERA WHAT IT IS TODAY? HOW DID THESE INFLUENCES MAKE THEIR WAY INTO ARGENTINA? The Chacarera was influenced by the pantomime dances (the Gallarda, the Canario, and the Zarabanda) that were performed in the theaters of Europe (Spain and France) in the 1500s and 1600s. Later, through the Spanish colonization of the Americas, the Chacarera spread from Peru into Argentina during the 1800s (19th century). As a result, the Chacarera was also influenced by the local Indian culture (indigenous people) of the area. Today, it is enjoyed by all social classes, in both rural and urban areas. It has spread throughout the entire country except in the region of Patagonia. Popularity is concentrated in which provinces? It is especially popular in Santiago del Estero, Tucuman, Salta, Jujuy, Catamarca, La Rioja and Cordoba. These provinces are located in the Northwest, Cuyo, and Pampas regions of Argentina. There are many variations of the dance that are influenced by each of the provinces (examples: The Santiaguena, The Tucumana, The Cordobesa) *variations do not change the essence of the dance The Gato History: WHAT INFLUENCES MADE THE GATO WHAT IT IS TODAY? HOW DID THESE INFLUENCES MAKE THEIR WAY INTO ARGENTINA? The Gato was danced in many Central and South American countries including Mexico, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay, however, it gained tremendous popularity in Argentina. The Gato has a very similar historical background as the other playfully mischievous dances (very similar to the Chacarera). -

Astor Piazzolla This Is the Story of Travel, Travail and Triumph in the Life
Astor Piazzolla This is the story of travel, travail and triumph in the life of an Argentine musician, Astor Pantaléon Piazzolla. His travels were two-fold: across the continents and through many kinds of music. That he was able eventually to combine these musical strands into something new and distinctively his own was his triumph, but it was long-delayed and there were many travails along the way. Argentina’s spectacular 19th century boom had attracted millions of migrants, including Piazzolla’s Italian grandparents. By the time of Piazzolla’s birth in 1921, it was long over, but the rich ethnic mix it created had left a musical legacy. In the brothels of Buenos Aires, the music and dance of Spain, Cuba and Italy had fused with that of the gauchos and Afro- Argentine ex-slaves to create a new dance form, the tango. Its early manifestations were blatantly sexual and reeked too much of the bordello to be tolerated in polite society. But after some refinement in the salons of Paris it emerged in 1912 to sweep the world. Argentina especially went wild for the tango and its quintessential instrument, the bandoneón, an odd form of concertina with a characteristic tone. A public holiday, July 11, was declared Bandoneón Day, and tango cafés, dance halls and cabaret houses sprang up everywhere to cater for every social stratum. Astor’s father, Vincente, was an enthusiastic tanguero and dreamed that his son would become a bandoneonist. His dream came true but hardly in the way he imagined. It was with great reluctance that Vincente took his family away from this lively scene to search for prosperity in New York and it almost proved disastrous for his son. -

En esta investigación nos proponemos examinar cómo la expansión de una práctica cultural considerada "negra" comprende una creciente interpelación de la construcción de blanquedad del contexto cultural y social al que arriba. Se produce así un cuestionamiento de la narrativa dominante de Argentina como nación ―blanca‖ y ―europea‖ y un replanteo de las identificaciones étnicas y raciales de los sujetos involucrados. Ambas dimensiones convergen y se expresan en una lectura racializada de las espacialidades en diferentes niveles contextuales (urbano y regional); y en la aparición de una nueva mirada sobre la genealogía familiar, que envuelve rasgos de la propia corporalidad. A tal fin, investigamos la expansión del candombe afrouruguayo entre practicantes considerados ―blancos‖, pertenecientes a sectores medios de Paraná, Santa Fe y Rosario. De este modo, trabajamos con la circulación de prácticas culturales racializadas ―negras‖ que se expanden más allá de ―grupos negros‖ (Frigerio y Lamborghini, 2012). ABSTRACT. In this research we look into how the spread of a cultural practice that is considered ―black‖ requires questioning the construction of whiteness of the cultural and social context where it arrives. Thus, it rises a questioning regarding Argentina's dominant narrative as a ―white‖ and ―european‖ nation as well as rethinking the ethnic and racial identifications of the subjects involved. -

Landesmusikplan Bremen 2010 Der 1978 gegründete Landesmusikrat Bremen e.V. veröffentlichte bereits 1980 den ersten Landesmusikplan. Die Erstellung von Landesmusikplänen ist eine Aufgabe, die sich aus den Satzungen der in Deutschland aktiven Musikräte ableitet. Der vorliegende Plan ist neu erstellt und ersetzt den Vorläufer von 2000. Gegenüber den bisherigen Musikplänen wird hier wesentlich stärker als in der Vergangenheit auf das aktuelle Musikleben und auf die das Musikgeschehen tragenden Einrichtungen, Organisationen und Verbände in Bremen und Bremerhaven hingewiesen. Der Landesmusikplan Bremen 2010 ist somit auch ein Nachschlagewerk für alle, die sich zu diesem Teil der Kultur einen Überblick verschaffen wollen. Landesmusikpläne erfassen den gesamten Bereich des Musikschaffens, analysieren die Situation, zeigen Stärken und Schwächen des Musiklebens auf, nennen Schwachstellen und Versäumnisse und stellen daraus resultierend Forderungen zur Verbesserung des musikalischen Infrastruktur im Bundesland auf. Die Landesmusikräte verstehen sich als Sachverwalter der musikalisch aktiven Bevölkerung.
