The performed field and experimental investigations resulted in the development of complex methods of assessment of the extent of the underground water technogenic pollution. The book is oriented on the specialists in the field of geoecology, water supply and sewage, hydrogeology and engineering geology, ecology and nature management, teachers, post-graduate and undergraduate students of the above mentioned subjects, as well as specialists of design organizations. -

Kazan Federal University, Institute of Management, Economics and Finance, Kazan, 420008, Russia Doi:10.5901/mjss.2014.v5n24p426 Abstract Article is devoted to the analysis of the ecological damage caused to water object – the river Shava and to wetland Shava of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, injured with accident at oil spill in 2007. Environment components, the most sensitive to oil pollution are analyzed and allocated. The economic assessment of consequences of pollution is carried out. Keywords: oil pollution, ecological damage, small rivers, fauna, flora, soils, water. 1. Introduction As a result of the accident from the Almetyevsk-Nizhny Novgorod oil pipeline which took place in March, 2007 in the Kstovsky region of the Nizhny Novgorod Region there was a pollution of water ecosystems of the river Shava and wetland of river Shava diesel fuel. Thus the food supply of fish resources (a phytoplankton, a zooplankton, a zoobenthos) and fish resources of the river Shava suffered, ground deposits and coastal soil are polluted, and the part of water vegetation and fauna was lost. The purpose of the conducted research is the complex assessment of the ecological damage caused to water object (to river Shava and wetland of river Shava) at an emergency (Mingazova, 2014). For an assessment of full ecological damage natural researches with sampling and studying of structural indicators of components of an ecosystem of water objects were conducted. -

This year saw the anniversaries of several key defense facilities in Russia, including Admiralty Shipyards, Sevmash, and Zvezdochka. Each of them makes a hefty contribution to Russia’s defense potential and development of domestic shipbuilding. Admiralty Shipyards floated out an Ivan Papanin- class ice-capable patrol ship and conducted tests of the Project 636.3 diesel-electric submarine Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski. Severnaya Verf built and tested the Project 22350 frigate Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov and Project 20385 corvette Gremyashchy. Yantar and Sevmash are in the middle of trials of uilt at the Baltic Shipyard, the Academician the Project 11711 large landing ship Peter Morgunov Lomonosov floating power unit became and nuclear submarine Knyaz Vladimir respectively. -

The removal of biogenic substances (mineral nitrogen and phosphorus) from river catchments and its modern aspects of formation are considered. A rough estimate of the annual water-biogenic balance for the Linda and Kudma river catchments, which are the tributaries of the Cheboksary reservoir, and the river catchments of the Kursk region is presented. It is shown that the diffuse removal of biogens from river catchments exceeds their removal into water bodies with wastewater. Not only anthropogenic, but also natural factors play an important role in the biogens export to the rivers and waterbodies. Resent changes in biogens removal from catchments are assessed. 1 Introduction Further water resources development in the central part of the Russian plain, which is experiencing intense anthropogenic pressure, in many cases is complicated by their poor quality. Knowledge of water quality genesis is an important condition for effective water resources management. Despite the fact that quite a large number of studies have been devoted to this problem, the uncontrolled diffuse (dispersed over the territory) removal of biogenic substances from agricultural, forest and urbanized landscapes, promoting eutrophication and other negative consequences, remains insufficiently studied. But for the surface slope runoff, mainly spring runoff [1-3 etc.], the biogenic substances migration export by other elements of the river basin vertical hydrological structure [4], including underground runoff, usually is not analysed, assuming their contribution to be insignificant. -
