Kohanimevalimik (PDF) 1159 KOHANIMEVALIMIK Valimikus on üle 4300 kohanime. 1. 3. Nimede seletused on eelkõige üldiseks orienteerimiseks ega pruugi olla ammendavad, sama- nimelistest kohtadest on mainitud vaid kõige tuntumad. 4. Pearõhu nihkumine esisilbile on paljude tuntud vene kohanimede puhul tavaks. 6. Eesti vältestruktuurile kohandamisel on mõnikord jäetud III-vältelises silbis täpsustamata, milline häälik pikeneb, nt nime Abidjan [abidž`an] saaks hääldada nii [abidž`aan] kui ka [abidž`ann]. Nimed, mille rõhulises lõppsilbis on kirjapildis lühike täishäälik ja kaashäälik (v.a k, p, t, f, š), on valimikus määratud 19. tüüpi, nt Erzurum : Erzurumi : Erzurumi. See kajastab nimede käändelõppe üksnes nende kirjapildi seisukohalt. Suulises kõnes on loo- mulik, et üks lõppsilbi häälikutest (kaas- või täishäälik) pikeneb ning nimi käändub välte- vaheldusliku malli (tüübi 22e) kohaselt : [erzur`umm : erzur´ummi : erzur`ummi]. 7. Valimikus on paljudele nimedele lisatud rööpvorme: nime eestikeelseid sünonüüme, vas- teid kohalikus keeles (endonüüme) ja vananenud nimekujusid. Võrdusmärgi = järel ja poolpaksus kirjas esitatakse ametlikud rööpnimed, mille kasutamine eestikeelses tekstis on põhimõtteliselt samuti võimalik, nt Espoo = Esbo, P`ürksi = Birkas. Eestipärased mugand nimed, mille asemel on soovitatav tarvitada endonüüme, antakse teisel kohal nt nii: California [kalif`ornia] <1: -sse>, ka Kalif`ornia. 8. 10. Valimik annab võõrkeelsed kohanimed esikohal enamasti täpsel kirjakujul, v.a mõned kee- led (aserbaidžaani, tatari, vietnami), mille puhul on tavaks mõnda tähte lihtsustada, nt kirju- tada vietnami nimesid toonimärkideta. `Aa <26: kuhu -sse> Abidjan [abidž`an] <19: -i, -i; Kävinkin työhön käsiksi ja rupesin aluksi sel- vittämään maakunnan isonjaontakaisia maanomistusoloja. FAIRWAY CARD UTÖ-LÖVSKÄR CHANNEL (10.0 M) 6.7.2021 CHANNEL DATA Alignment and buoyage: The Utö-Lövskär channel (10.0 m) starts at the Utö-Naantali channel N of Utö and continues from south to north between Nagu and Korpo towards Lövskär. The fairway ends W of Lövskär in the Utö-Naantali channel. 14 lines marked with boards and lights. Length approx. 59.5 km/32.1 nm. Cardinal marking. Lit. Dimensions: Design ship l = 200 m, b = 32 m, t = 10 m. Maximum authorised draught 10.0 m. Safe clearance depths (MW 2000) Lövskär-Hållers -11.5 m, Hållers-Utö -12.0 m. Minimum width 221 m. Minimum turning radius 1,000 m. NAVIGABILITY Instead of the route which goes in open sea, this fairway offers a route in the Archipelago Sea (Utö- Lövskär-Isokari), which is shorter, more sheltered against wind and with lighter ice conditions during difficult ice winters. Navigational conditions: The first leg of the fairway, from Utö to Lohm, goes through a more open archipelago where navigation can be hampered by hard winds and heavy seas. The leg between Lohm and Lövskär in the sound between Nagu and Korpo is sheltered and well marked. The channel has mainly two traffic lanes, but on the line W of Vandrock the fairway area narrows down to one lane. At the Lövskär bend and Korpo ferry berth special attention and caution should be observed due to the crossing traffic. Ice conditions: In the approach, Utö-Lohm, the ice conditions vary: sometimes there is no formation of ice, at times there is moving ice and the buoys can be pressed beneath the surface.

Just2 / 2 at the southern edge of Tallinn lies Lake Ülemiste. According to a legend, on the darkest autumnal night each year a mysterious old man climbs out of the Ülemiste depths, knocks on the city gates and asks whether the construction of Tallinn has been completed. The little man has sworn that, should it one day be finished, he will release the lake’s waters and drown out the whole city. The knowing guards therefore always answer, “No, good sir! There’s still a great deal of construction taking place. Please be so good as to come again after a little while.” That’s why Tallinn will never be completed. Though already eight centuries old, it’s still a work in progress, forever growing and reinventing itself while never forgetting its unique heritage. On Town Hall Square you can find a humble apothecary that’s been operating for nearly 600 years. Just a few steps away, there’s an old- fashioned café where specialists make marzipan figurines by hand – edible symbols of Tallinn’s fairytale charm. Nearby, in other cafés and lounge bars, the city’s residents are tapping away at their laptops and surfing the Internet in their iPhones. Historic. Romantic. Friendly. Relaxing. Modern. Daring.
