Form guide • Group stage debutants Lokeren lost 1-0 in Warsaw on matchday one and have drawn their only previous two games in Poland. • Lokeren are unbeaten in four European home matches (W3 D1); Legia are on a seven-game winning streak in the UEFA Europa League, qualifying included. • Legia and FC Dinamo Moskva are the only sides to have won all four of their group stage fixtures this season. Legia have thus won four times as many matches as they did in last season's group stage. Trivia and links • Legia have committed more fouls than any other side in the group stage – 81, nine more than any other team – with Ondrej Duda topping the competition's indiscipline rankings with 18 fouls. Team-mate Michał Żyro is in second place on 14 fouls, level with former Legia player Artur Jędrzejczyk of FC Krasnodar. • Lokeren winger Besart Abdurahimi was a trainee at NK Zagreb while Legia midfielder Ivica Vrdoljak was a first- team player there. • Legia striker Orlando Sá and Lokeren left-back Arthur Henrique were briefly team-mates at CD Nacional in early 2011 while both players were out on loan. • Legia's dream is to feature in the UEFA Europa League final in their home city; the tournament will conclude at the National Stadium, Warsaw, on 27 May 2015. The coaches • Lokeren coach since 2010, Peter Maes spent a big chunk of the 1990s as a back-up goalkeeper for RSC Anderlecht, later becoming No1 at KSK Beveren and R. Standard de Liège. He made his name as a coach by leading KV Mechelen back into the top division in 2006/07. • Henning Berg took charge of Legia at the start of 2014. The former Blackburn Rovers FC, Manchester United FC and Rangers FC defender was capped 100 times by Norway. As a coach, he has held the reins at FK Lyn, Lillestrøm SK and – for just 57 days – Blackburn. 3 KSC Lokeren OV - Legia Warszawa Thursday 27 November 2014 - 19.00CET (19.00 local time) Match press kit Daknam, Lokeren Team facts KSC Lokeren OV Formed: 1927 Nickname: Tricolores UEFA club competition honours (runners-up in brackets) • none Domestic honours (most recent triumph in brackets) Belgian Cup: 2 (2014) Ten-year European record (UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League unless indicated otherwise) 2013/14: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2012/13: play-offs 2011/12: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2010/11: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2009/10: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2008/09: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2007/08: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2006/07: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2005/06: UEFA Intertoto Cup second round 2004/05: did not take part in UEFA club competition Records UEFA club competition • Biggest home win 4-0: Lokeren v Aris Thessaloniki FC 04/11/81, UEFA Cup second round second leg • Biggest away win 0-4: FK Dinamo Tirana v Lokeren 14/08/03, UEFA Cup qualifying round first leg • Heaviest home defeat 0-4: Lokeren v Newcastle United FC 14/07/01, UEFA Intertoto Cup third round first leg • Heaviest away defeat 4-1: 1.FC Kaiserslautern v Lokeren 09/12/81, UEFA Cup third round second leg UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League • Biggest home win 4-0: Lokeren v Aris Thessaloniki FC (see above) • Biggest away win 0-4: FK Dinamo Tirana v Lokeren (see above) • Heaviest home defeat 1-2: Lokeren v SL Benfica 03/11/82, second round second leg 0-1: Lokeren v Manchester City FC 15/10/03, first round second leg • Heaviest away defeat 4-1: 1.FC Kaiserslautern v Lokeren (see above) Legia Warszawa Formed: 1916 Nickname: Wojskowi (Army Men), Legionisci (Legionnaires) UEFA club competition honours • None Domestic honours (most recent triumph in brackets) • League title: 10 (2014) • Polish Cup: 16 (2013) 4 KSC Lokeren OV - Legia Warszawa Thursday 27 November 2014 - 19.00CET (19.00 local time) Match press kit Daknam, Lokeren Ten-year record (UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa unless indicated otherwise) 2013/14: group stage (having transferred from UEFA Champions League play-offs) 2012/13: play-offs 2011/12: round of 32 2010/11: did not take part in UEFA club competition 2009/10: third qualifying round 2008/09: second qualifying round 2007/08: UEFA Intertoto Cup second round 2006/07: first round (having transferred from UEFA Champions League third qualifying round) 2005/06: second qualifying round 2004/05: first round Records UEFA club competition • Biggest home win 9-0: Legia v Víkingur Reykjavík 27/09/72, European Cup Winners' Cup first round second leg • Biggest away win 1-6: IF Elfsborg v Legia 27/09/01, UEFA Cup first round second leg 0-5: Saint Patrick's Athletic FC v Legia 23/07/14, UEFA Champions League second qualifying round second leg 0-5: FK Vardar v Legia 12/08/99, UEFA Cup qualifying round first leg • Heaviest home defeat 3-7: Legia v FC Bayern München 05/10/88, UEFA Cup first round second leg 0-4: Legia v TSV 1860 München 03/03/65, European Cup Winners' Cup quarter-final first leg • Heaviest away defeat 6-1: Valencia CF v Legia 01/11/01, UEFA Cup second round second leg UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League • Biggest home win 6-0: Legia v FC Tbilisi 26/08/04, second qualifying round second leg • Biggest away win 1-6: IF Elfsborg v Legia (see above) 0-5: FK Vardar v Legia (see above) • Heaviest home defeat 3-7: Legia v FC Bayern München (see above) • Heaviest away defeat 6-1: Valencia CF v Legia (see above) 5 KSC Lokeren OV - Legia Warszawa Thursday 27 November 2014 - 19.00CET (19.00 local time) Match press kit Daknam, Lokeren Squad list KSC Lokeren OV Current season All-time QUAL UEL League UEL UEFA No. Player Nat. • Kto Faktycznie Wychowuje Piłkarzy, a Kto Na Nich Zarabia? Raport Stowarzyszenia PASS
• Leagues Competitions Overview
Leagues’ Competitions Overview SEASON 2021/22 01 Leagues’ Competitions Overview SEASON 2021/22 FOREWORD League Football is back! In the middle of a summer rich of sport events with Euro 2020 finally cheered by the public in the stadiums and the Olympic Games successfully delivered in Tokyo, the football arenas are ready to welcome back fans and players for an exciting new season of domestic club football. We are glad to present to the whole football community this Leagues’ Competitions Overview, a document which contains - country by country- all key competition elements of our Member Leagues. During the past years, a few Leagues have presented innovations in their Competition Formats which we are happy to display in this report. Fans across Europe can now enjoy traditional league formats but also championships with new and creative competition systems with the introduction of play-off & play-out mechanisms which generate more compelling and interesting final parts of the season for their participating clubs, whether to win the title or to qualify for a European ticket but also to gain the permanence in the top division or its access. Other innovations are related to the introduction of new Kick-Off Times over the weekend to match the interests of a growing international audience and those of broadcasting and other commercial partners. And of course, the report provides insights on the Calendar and Players’ Transfer Windows for the approaching season for both all our summer and winter leagues. The Calendar for the upcoming 2020/21 season appears rich of games but also quite congested as we are approaching 2022 - the year with the FIFA World Cup in November/December – with its unusual and highly debated schedule which will impact domestic league football calendars for more than a season.
