All of the Winery’s coastal vineyards participate in a unique land management plan started by the co-founders where for every acre of land planted in vineyard, one acre of property is set aside to help protect and enhance wildlife habitat.

• E. & J. Gallo Winery was recognized as the first winery in the U.S. to receive the International Standards Organization’s ISO 14001 certification, created to assist companies with reducing impacts on the environment.
