Formerly the Executive Chef for the Restaurant at the Getty, Matt Lee has a quiet passion for culinary integrity and innovation. His exquisite eye for detail is evident in everything from his careful flavor composition to the stunning and playful visual presentation of each element on the plate. At 917, his facility with fresh, locally caught fish and other seafood complements his mastery of more traditional steak, chicken, and pork offerings, which he tends to balance with a bright vegetable accompaniment.

Matt began his career at the age of 16 prepping seafood and vegetables at a local dining destination. After high school he attended the California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena and went straight into fine dining, as Sous Chef at the historic and award-winning Saddle Peak Lodge in Calabasas, CA, where he first fell in love with cooking seasonally and locally. He was also inspired by his grandfather, who opened a restaurant in New York with friends soon after emigrating from , and who later always tended a bountiful backyard garden in Los Angeles — as Matt also does.

EVENT QUALIFICATIONS The Porsche Experience Center may not be identified as a “co-host” or as otherwise “teaming up” with the host in invitations and promo- tional materials. The Porsche Experience Center name may be used in materials only to identify the event location.

EVENT SCHEDULING Daytime events (to include vendors for production) may have access to the facility as early as x:xx p.m. Clients hosting morning and day- time events may arrive beginning at x:xx a.m. Facility buyout is available for private rental Tuesday–Saturday; contact your sales manager for additional information. Food and Beverage minimums apply for events held on Sunday and Monday.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUMS The Gallery event space and Restaurant 917 require food and beverage minimums. Daytime events: Tuesday–Thursday $5,000 | Friday or Saturday $6,000 Evening events: Tuesday–Thursday $6,000 | Friday or Saturday $7,000

FOOD and BEVERAGE SERVICE All food- and beverage-related services will be provided by Bon Appétit, the exclusive caterer to the Porsche Experience Center. Regula- tions of the Alcohol & Tobacco Division of Los Angeles prohibit spirits, wine, or beer to be supplied by anyone other than Bon Appétit. Insurance regulations prohibit food that is not supplied by Bon Appétit from entering the facility. All food and beverages served at an event must be consumed on premises.

SPECIAL ORDERS AND REQUESTS Special wine and beverage requests may be ordered for an additional charges; guest is responsible for fulfilling designated case require- ments. Left over product may not leave the premise and will be property of Bon Appétit inventory.

PRICES, SERVICE CHARGES, and TAXES A 24% administrative charge and all applicable state and local taxes will be added to all pricing. Menu prices are subject to change with- out notice.

GUARANTEE Although all event details are to be finalized at least two weeks prior to the event, a final confirmation (the “Guarantee”) of your antici- pated number of guests is required 72 hours prior to the scheduled event. If the number of guests decreases thereafter, the host will be charged for the number of guests included in the Guarantee. If the number of guests exceeds the Guarantee, the host will be charged for the actual number of guests. Late Order / Late Revision fees will apply for any revision placed less than 72 hours prior to your event.

LABOR FEES Bon Appetit requires (1) Captain per 100 guests; (1) Server per 25 guests; (1) Bartender per 50 guests and when necessary, (1) Chef attendant per 50 guests. A required labor fee of $150 is charged for each bartender, server, carver, or specialty chef. A bar setup fee of $250 will apply for all satellite bars. An administrative fee of 24% will be added to all charges.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY EVENT? Standard cocktail tables, dinner and buffet tables, china, mid-length white linen, and banquet chairs are complimentary. Additional rent- als are required for specialty linen, décor, and equipment.

WHEN DOES MY MENU NEED TO BE FINALIZED? To allow us to coordinate all of your event details, menu, and particular needs with other departments, we ask that all details be finalized a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled event.

WHEN IS MY FINAL COUNT DUE? A final confirmation (the “Guarantee”) of your anticipated number of guests is required no fewer than three business days before the scheduled event.

WHAT IF I HAVE LAST-MINUTE REQUESTS? Although we make every attempt to accommodate all last-minute requests, we reserve the right to make substitutions as needed. Some requests made after the three-business-day guarantee are subject to an additional surcharge. No changes to the menu may be made within 72 hours preceding the scheduled event.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE SPECIAL DIETARY REQUESTS? Please inform your catering manager of all known special requests, vegetarian, and vegan meal needs to ensure availability for your event.
