Rank I with Instructional Technology Endorsement Curriculum Map Admission requirements*: 1. Must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university or have completed a Fifth-Year Program 2. Valid Teaching Certificate or statement of eligibility for teaching. 3. A minimum of 3.0 on all graduate course work. 4. Demonstrate a computer competency or fluency (i.e. undergraduate or graduate computer competency course or computer competency assessment).

Core Courses – 12 hours General Electives – 18 hours EDTC 611 Intro to Action Research and Grant Writing; or Complete 18 hours from the following courses listed in EDF 600 Research Methods in consultation with the assigned advisor: st EDTC 621 Technology for the 21 Century CIS 634 of Telecommunications and Networking EDTC 628 Technology, Education, and Culture CIS 650 Innovation, Technology, and Organizational Change EDTC 680 Intro to and Technology EDEL/EDSE 616 Educational Any EDTC course (approved by advisor) Any 600 or higher courses (approved by advisor) Minimum Total Hours Required– 30 hours (A minimum of 60 graduate hours including the Master’s degree or 30 graduate hours beyond a Rank II is required for Rank I.)

Requirements for the Degree 1. Satisfy general degree requirements. 2. The student must meet University exit assessment criteria that include program exit exam and professional portfolio. 3. The student must apply for graduation in the Graduate Office, 701 Ginger Hall. 4. Maintain a 3.0 GPA in all courses taken after completing the Bachelor’s Degree. 5. Must be unconditionally admitted. 6. If a student has not been unconditionally admitted after completing twelve graduate hours, he/she will not be allowed to register for additional hours.
