Publicity Intern

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an intern to join our Publicity team. This opportunity is designed to provide a student with the chance to work in an innovative, dynamic environment and gain valuable hands-on experience in an essential function within the music industry.

Here you’ll get to: ▪ Assist the Publicity team on ad hoc projects ▪ Track and organize interviews, reviews, and media coverage ▪ Work with the national Promotion team, Marketing team, and media outlets to coordinate artist interviews ▪ Solicit reviews and coverage of video releases ▪ Research media outlets and media contacts for interview pitching ▪ Assist with organizing the company’s involvement with events such as Junos, and CCMAs

It would be music to our ears if you: ▪ Are a current member of Rise Tribe. ▪ Have the ability and willingness to learn quickly ▪ Have excellent verbal and written communication skills ▪ Are strong with time-management, organizational, and able to work unsupervised ▪ Have a strong outgoing personality ▪ Have an interest, passion and knowledge of music and the Canadian media landscape
