Directions to North Scranton Field, Home of the North Scranton Vikings • Heading south on Scranton Carbondale Hwy before you get on the Expressaway • Take Oak St Exit • Exit curves around and under a bridge • Turn Right as soon as you go under the bridge, that's Oak St. • Continue straight • Go through stop light at keyser Ave and continue to stop sign • Turn Right onto Brick St (follow Brick which has a jog to the left) • Go all the way down to Putnam St • Turn Right onto Putnam St • Park is at the top of the Hill Directions to Wilkes-Barre Bears Field 80 O'Brien Drive Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705 • Directions from the Scranton Area: • Take 81 South to Exit 170B (309N) • Follow 309 N then take Exit 2 (Center City Exit) • Make a Right onto North Wilkes-Barre Blvd. • At 1st Traffic Light (Turkey Hill will be on your Right) • Make a Right onto George Ave. • At the second Stop Sign, Make a Left onto Scott Street • Make 1st Right onto Matson Ave. • At Stop Sign make Left onto O'Brien Dr. • The Bears field is on your Left. Directions to Abington Heights High School 222 Noble Rd Clarks Summit, PA 18411 • Take 81S to exit 194 (Clarks Summit) • Follow 11N (S State Street) through Clarks Summit • At the top of the hill continue straight through the light at W Grove St (you need to be in right lane) • At the next light turn left onto Rt 307, Winola Road • Go about 1/2 mile and turn right onto Noble Road • The high school will be on your left. Warren Street Dunmore, PA 18509 • Game Field • From North: Take I-84 West to I-380 North to I-81 North... • From South: Take I-80 West to I-380 North to I-81 North... • From I-81 North get off at Exit 188 (Dunmore/Throop) • Get into the left two lanes and at traffic light to make left onto O'Neill Highway • Go to the 3rd traffic light (cemetery on right) and make a right onto Warren St • The high school will be on your right • Stadium is behind the high school • Football, Soccer, Cross Country, Tennis, Basketball, Track, and Softball events held at the high school • Practice Field - St. Anthony's Field/Stadium (Dunmore) • Take 81 south to Dunmore / Throop Exit 188 (old exit 55) • Stay right off of the exit • Turn left at the third traffic light • Go past Bishop O'Hara School and take a right at Cordaro's Attorney • Go 5 blocks and you will run into the fields Directions to Honesdale High School - Home of the Wayne Highlands Stingers 178 Lakeside Drive Honesdale, PA 18431 • From the Scranton/Carbondale area: • Follow Route 6 East to Honesdale • Make a right onto Main Street (Rt 191 - One Way Street) • Go through the town of Honesdale until you come to a traffic light at a T in the road • Make a right onto Sunrise Ave • Make another quick right immediately after the railroad tracks onto Terrace Ave • Terrace Ave takes a sharp left curve and eventually a slight right at a Y in the road. Keep following Terrace Ave up the hill. • Keep going past the high school...you will cross under a foot bridge going over the road • the football field is now on your left • Make the next right on to Lakeside Drive • Make the first right into parking lot • Park and walk over the foot bridge to enter football field Directions to Moosic Raiders Spring St, Moosic, PA 18507 Telephone:570-457-2506 • From Rt. 81 • Get off at the Moosic exit #180 to Rt. 11 South (Birney Ave) • Follow Rt.11 south for approx. 2 miles passing the Moosic Diner and then Cee-Kay Auto Store on your left. • Just past Cee-Kay will be a blinking traffic signal. Turn right there onto Spring Street • Follow Spring Street a few blocks, go over Railroad Tracks and the field will be off to your left side • If you find a parking spot on Spring Street -- GRAB IT! ...There is parking in by the field, but it is limited Directions to North Pocono High School Field, Home of the North Pocono Jr. Trojens 701 Church Street Moscow, PA 18444 • From Interstate 81 • Take I-380 South for 7 miles • Take the PA-690 exit toward Moscow (Exit 22) • Keep left at the fork and turn left onto Church Street. (PA-690) • Continue for 1.6 miles • The stadium will be on your right located behind the North Pocono High School Directions to Old Forge Football Field, Home of the Old Forge Jr Blue Devils 301 1st Street Old Forge, PA 18518 • Get off Route 81 South at the Davis Street Exit (# 182) • At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Davis Street and go 1.6 miles (you go through 2 traffic lights about 100 yards apart) to another traffic light • Turn left here onto South Main Avenue • Continue for 1.6 miles to the second traffic light (these 2 lights are only 200 ft. apart) • Turn left on Moosic Rd. • Take either the second or third right • Go one block to Old Forge School District's Veterans Memorial Stadium Directions to Olyphant Lions Field, Home of the Olyphant Lions 901 Susquehanna Ave Olyphant, PA 18447 From Casey Highway: • Get on the Robert Casey Industrial Highway (Rt.6) • Get off east Lackawanna Avenue Exit • Off ramp take a right or left toward town • Go to the 5th stop sign, this will be the Olyphant bypass • Turn right, then take your first left hand turn • Then take your first right • Go to 2nd stop sign and take a left turn down the hill • Proceed to the stop sign, then turn right, continue straight and you will run into the field Directions to Pocono Mountain Field, Home of the Pocono Mountain Cardinals • In Season/Playoff Games Field • Take route 380 South to Exit 8 (Tobyhanna Army Depot) • At the end of the ramp bear right onto Route 611 • Go about 3 to 4 miles • The schools are on your right • Make a right into the school complex • There are two schools, you want to be at the one to your left • Go all the way to the back of the school and the field is behind it • (There are limited bleachers, so please bring your chairs) Directions to Mike Krypel Stadium, Home of the Taylor Jr.

    JAMES F. SWIFT SCHOLARSHIP OF THE SCRANTON AREA FOUNDATION THE PROGRAM The Scranton Area Foundation has established the James F. Swift Scholarship to assist students from Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania high schools, who plan to continue their education in a college or university program. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution, preferably one of the Lackawanna County schools, of the student’s choice. This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a division of Scholarship America®. Scholarship Management Services is the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. The ​ ​ ​ Alliance for Young Artists and Writers' mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and present their remarkable work to the world. The awards give students recognition, exhibition, publications, and scholarships. Scholastics is the nation's longest-running, a most ​ prestigious recognition program for creative teens. ​ "The 2021 Scholastics Art Awards submissions of the Northeast Region is proof that arts educators are doing a fantastic job. This year's submissions were some of the best works I've seen since the Museum became an affiliate partner in 2018. The level of talent is exceptional," said Stefanie Colarusso, Director of Programs and Events for the Everhart. "The arts provide students with a creative outlet to express their personal vision or voice. It is a way for students to express their emotions in a way that is especially meaningful in such uncertain times. It is genuinely refreshing to see the commitment from educators, students, and parents or guardians who support creativity at home and in school, encouraging students to express themselves through art creation." This year, made possible by a grant from the Maslow Family Foundation, the Museum received over ​ ​ 400 submissions in various media from Junior and Senior High School students from throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
