Ovogodišnje, 33. izdanje FIAT-a bazira se na raznolikosti umjetničkog izraza, koja će neupitno motivisati publiku da se adaptira, i za- jedno sa izvođačima traga, razumije i doživljava… Zadatak alternativnog teatra jeste, drugačiji, eksperimentalan i autentičan izraz, koji odstupa od uobičajenog, te se ove godine FIAT vraća svojoj suštini… Putem konkursa, što će se nastaviti kao praksa i u budućnosti, prijavilo se 67 projekata iz cijelog svijeta. Nakon odgledanog materijala, odabrane su nadahnute, i u sredstvima izražajne predstave koje dolaze iz Španije, Mađarske, Crne Gore, Francuske, Hrvatske, Srbije, Izraela, Makedonije i Albanije. Svaka predstava je intimno putovanje kojem se prepuštamo. Zajednički motiv je borba. U životu i u umjetnosti uvijek prisutna, neophodna. Borba sa sobom (dušom, umom, tijelom), sa strahom, samoćom, ludilom, borba sa društvom, sa starim i novim, sa uspjehom, porazom, sa muzikom, riječima, predrasudama i licemjerjem, sa bolom, zločinom, tišinom, sa ljubavlju i istinom, sa………………. Pitamo se… Šta naše izmučeno biće može i ne može? Možemo li osposobiti sebe za sve što nam život nameće? Borba ne prestaje! FIAT se ne predaje!

FESTIVAL OF INTERNATIONAL ALTERNATIVE THEATRE

This year’s 33rd edition of FIAT is based on different artistic expressions which will by all means motivate audience to adapt and seek, comprehend and experience together with the artists. The goal of alternative theatre is a different, experimental and authentic expression, one that differs from the usual, thus this year’s FIAT is going back to its purpose. An open call, a practise that would continue in the future, resulted in 67 projects from all over the world submitted to the Council. After considering all presented materials, the selection of aspiring and expressive performances from Spain, Hungary, Montenegro, France, Croatia, Serbia, Israel, Macedonia and Albania had been made. Each of these performances is an intimate journey we indulge in. The collective motif is fight. Ever present and necessary in both life and art. The fight with one self (spirit, mind and body), with fear, loneliness, craze, a fight against the society, the old and the new, the success and failure, music, words, prejudice and hypocrisy, fight with pain, crime, silence, with love and truth, with………….. We ask ourself… What our tortured being can and cannot? Could we prepare ourselves for everything life imposes on us? The fight doesn’t end! FIAT doesn’t give up! Što bi bilo da je Crvenkapica odlučila da ignoriše svoju mamu, da se prepustila intuiciji da je vodi i uronila duboko u šumu svojih strahova? Što se dešava kada ne možemo da uradimo ništa protiv ustaljenih normi? Da li ste ikad nekoga ispratili na put inicijacije…? Galaktička Crvenkapica je multimedijalna predstava bazirana na poznatoj priči o Crvenkapici, koja pruža jedinstven pogled na ovu problematiku. Multidisciplinarni komad istražuje različite varijante umjetničkog izraza, kombinacija koje rezultiraju novom i originalnom ekspresivnom formom koja zaokuplja publiku. U predstavi se susreću tri video umjetnika, dva slikara, muzičar i glumica, i zajedno stvaraju “live” film na takav način da publika može jednako uživati u finalnom proizvodu, projekciji na velikom platnu, istovremeno gledajući i njen “making of”.

What if the Little Red Riding Hood decided to ignore her mother, to be led by her intuition and delve deep into the forest of her fears? What happens when we react against the established norm? Have you ever accompanied someone on a voyage of initiation…? La Caputxeta Galàctica is a multimedia stage show based on the well-known tale of Little Red Riding Hood, offering a unique view of the popular story. This multidisciplinary piece explores various modes of artistic expression, the combination of which results in a new and original expressive form which immerses the audience. The show brings together three video artists, two painters, a musician and an actress, who together create a film ‘live’ in such a way that the audience can enjoy both the finished work – projected on a large screen – and simultaneously see its ‘making of’.

Sablast, sva satkana od sjajnih boja života, strasti, ljubavi, izazova, kao tektonska kataklizma izbacuje na površinu svo samoljublje,laž, dvojni moral, pohlepu, tako brižljivo sakrivane pod plaštom nedužnosti i poštenja. U svojoj burlesci Sablast u dolini Sentflorijanskoj Ivan Cankar izvrgava ruglu svu opasnost društvenog licemjerja suprostavljajući malograđanskim odličnicima dvoje mladih vagabunda, avanturista i kriminalaca – Petra i Jacintu, koji svojom iskrenom željom za ispunjenim životom kao uragan protutnje kroz Dolinu i živote njenih stanovnika, za trenutak uzvitlavši prašinu, sablaznivši sve i na kraju ih izdavši.

Ono najvažnije što želimo da naučite od naših plesača je - sloboda. Oni nam na sceni pokazuju kako igrati zajedno, kako dati jedno drugom šansu da pokažete ono najbolje. Oni igraju - solo, pa u duetu, pa opet u grupi, svi zajedno, sinhronizovano, snažno. Oni dijele snagu, ljepotu, ljubav i strast za stvaranjem…

The scandal, all made up of shinny colours of life, passion, love, challenges, like the tectonic cataclysm spits out all of the self-admiration, lies, two-faced moral and greed being carefully kept under the coat of innocence and virtue. In his burlesque “Scandal in St. Florian Valley”, Ivan Cankar ridicules all the dangers of the social hypocrisy by confronting the provincials with two young vagabonds, adventurists and criminals Petar and Jacinta. Led by their honest wish to have a full-filled life, they venture through the valley and the life of its citizens like a tornado, rising the layers of dust and betraying them all at the end.

The most important thing we want you to learn from our dancers is freedom. On stage, they show us how to dance together, how to give each other a chance to perform the best you can. They dance solo, than in pairs, then again in groups, all together, synchronised, powerful. They share the power, the beauty, love and passion for creation…

Ćao prijatno je komedija koja se kreće na ivici dokumentarnog teatra, ali u jednom trenutku ismijava ovaj žanr i transformiše se u teatarski dokumentarac. Potpuno je bazirana na netačnim činjenicama o životima i karijeri dva glumca koji je i izvode. Napaljeni dedica, ludi taksista, Isus i afteri, Otelo, čudna ciganka, Betmen, političar i nekoliko drugih, dočaravaju život uopšte, pokušavajući da odgonetnu njegovo značenje, istražujući univerzum kroz oči pozorišta. Ovo je stominutni vrtlog glumačke izvrsnosti, dobrih dijaloga, mnoštva političke satire i istorijsko histeričnog haosa. Sam komad je montažna adaptacija kompilacije velikih umjetnika i pisaca koji su ubijeđeni da su bogovi. Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, NickKroll, John Mulaney, The Monty Python, Douglas Adams, Joseph Heller, Franz Kafka i svim drugima koji počivaju u miru - veliko hvala!

“Kritikujemo banalnost televizije, jutarnje programe koji tretiraju neprikladne teme za taj termin, televizija ima mnogo promašaja u tom smislu. Svaka scena je komentar. Kritikujemo i političare koji i pored velikih plata uredno ne plaćaju svoje troškove, voze se besplatno u našoj predstavi kao što smo vidjeli u sceni sa taksistom“, Atanas Atanasovski.

Ciao Goodbye is a comedy which surfs on the edge of documentary theatre, but suddenly decides to mock the genre and transform into a theatre mockumentary. It is entirely based on false facts about the lives and careers of the two actors who performing in it. Horny grandad, crazy taxi driver, Jesus and after-hour parties, Othello, a strange gypsy woman, Batman, a politician, and few others, take accounts on life in general, trying to decode its meaning, while exploring the universe and everything else, through the eyes of the theatre. This is a 100 minute whirlwind of actors’ excellence, great dialogues, lots of political satire and historical/hysterical mayhem. The piece itself is a montage adaptation. compilation of great artists and writers that we strongly believe are gods. Thanks to: Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, The Monty Python, Douglas Adams, Joseph Heller, Franz Kafka and all the rest in peace.

Sin Senad je odlučan u svojoj namjeri da započne osvetu protiv svog biološkog oca – čovjeka koji je silovao njegovu majku za vrijeme rata u Bosni. Jedne Božićne večeri Senad se pojavljuje na vratima svog oca predstavljajući se kao prijatelj njegove kćerke. Isplanirana osveta pretvara se u ljudski kontakt koji mijenja sve, zajedno sa Senadovom željom da ubije oca koja prelazi u želju za očevim zagrljajem. Predstava se suočava sa pitanjima odgovornosti, krivice i oproštaja koristeći malu priču o čovjeku i njegovoj djeci koja podstiče univerzalna pitanja o mrtvima koje nismo sahranili pa nas progone. Takođe se i postavlja pitanje: kakav svijet ostavljamo našoj djeci?

Son Senad is decisive about taking a revenge on his biological father - a man who had raped his mother during a war in Bosnia. One Christmas Eve, Senad appears in front of his doors introducing himself as a friend of his daughter. What was meant to be a well prepared revenge turns into a human contact that changes everyone, with Senad’s wish to kill his father being transformed into a need for a fatherly arms. The performance deals with questions of responsibility, guilt and forgiveness. Through a little story about the man and his children it induces the universal questions about the dead which we have not buried thus they arise to haunt us. As well as the question: what kind of world are we leaving to our children?

KA-F-KA je priča o svima i ni o kome. Čovjek, izgubljen u životnoj rutini, budi se i otkriva da se preobrazio u neko drugo biće. Pati od usamljenosti, gladi i bola, ali i dalje nastavlja jurnjavu oko svakodnevnih socijalno-ličnih obaveza. KA-F-KA Mehdija Farajpura je slobodna interpretacija inspirisana Kafkinim vizuelnim univerzumom uopšte i naročito Metamofrozom. Jednako kao u drugim predstavama Farajpura, KA-F-KA je takođe izgrađen na interdisciplinarnoj (a ne multidisciplinarnoj) strukturi, što znači da ona šeta između različitih disciplina umjesto što ih miješa samo radi efekta.

KA-FKA is the story about everyone and no one. A man, lost in the routine of his life, awakes to discover that he is transformed into another being. He suffers from isolation, solitude, hunger and pain but yet keeps running through out his social-individual obligations. KA-F-KA by Mehdi FARAJPOUR is a free interpretation based on Franz Kafka’s visual universe in general and his Metamorphosis in particular. Likewise Mehdi’s other performances, KA-F-KA is built up on an interdisciplinary (and not multidisciplinary) structure which means, walking in between different disciplines instead of mixing them just for the sake of it.

Opera Lazla Sarija “Dobar zvuk u naletima” je savršen susret riječi i muzike. Prije Sarija, nikome ne bi palo na pamet da odabere poemu Šandora Voereša “Tema i varijacije” kao libreto za operu. Prema definiciji žanra, u polu-ozbiljnoj operi sve se dešava drugačije od onoga na šta smo navikli, ali sve što je potrebno za kamernu operu je tu: uvertira, dvanaest činova, arije, horovi i finale. Završni komadi su igre zasnovane na Sarijevoj kolekciji “Kreativne muzičke vježbe” dok je postlude parodija klasičnih finala komičnih opera.

Mimo glavnih djelova teksta i muzičkih krilatica, sve u Sarijevom djelu je melanholično i katarzično. Ovakvo predstavljanje rada Sarija pruža izvanrednu priliku za veličanje kompozitora koji u 2015. godini puni 75, a produkcija nudi i rijetku mješavinu savremene muzike i savremenog pozorišta publici. Predstavu je postavio Zoltana Balaša, umjetnički direktor teatra Maladipe. Kreativni odnos Balaš i Sarija počeo je priznatom scenskom adaptacijom kompozitorovog oratorijuma Teomači (Sandora Veoresa) 2003. godine.

László Sáry’s opera Great Sound in the Rush is a perfect encounter of words and music. Before Sáry it would have hardly occurred to anyone to choose Sándor Weöres’s poem “Theme and Variations” as a libretto for an opera. According to the definition of the genre, in a semi-serious opera everything happens differently from what we are used to, yet, all that is required for a chamber opera is given: overture, 12 acts, arias, recitatives, choruses, and a finale. The closing pieces are games based on Sáry’s collection Creative Musical Exercises, while the postlude is the parody ofclassical comic opera finales. Beyond the punch lines of the text and the musical quips, everything is poignant and cathartic in Sáry’s piece. Presenting Sáry’s work provides a remarkable opportunity for celebrating the composer who turns 75 in 2015, while the production also offers a rare interchange between contemporary music and contemporary theater to the audience. The performance is staged by Zoltán Balázs Artistic director of Maladype Theatre. Balázs’s creative relationship with Sáry began with the acclaimed stage adaptation of the composer’s oratorio Theomachia (by Sándor Weöres) in 2003.

Predstava o životu Patti Smith je rezultat istraživanja na dugoj liniji odnosa između umjetnika i društva. Patti nije samo prvoborkinja pankerske revolucije, simbol “drugačijeg” r’n’r-la. Patti je simbol borbe za čistu umjetnost.Od Rimbauda, Whitmana do Jima Morrisona, ona utjelovljuje sestru blisku po osjećaju, erudiciji i snazi. Što znači danas utjeloviti njen prevratnički opus? Voljeti sadašnost, revoluciju, snagu. Bježimo od konvencionalnosti u poeziju, smjelost, jednako pjesnički, muzički, snovito!

Pojava Patti Smith na njujorškoj umjetničkoj i muzičkoj sceni početkom 70-ih godina bila je toliko silovita, njen uspon toliko brz i neočekivan, a uticaj toliko snažan da je iz današnje perspektive teško procijeniti njenu ulogu.

Predstava nastala iz teksta Jelene Svilar i Morane Foretić prati genezu umjetnika, rast kreacije iz duha vremena. Galerija likova izmjenjuje se kao fascinantan ringišpil, kalidoskopski umjetnički svijet u kojem se susreću Robert Mapplethorpe, Sam Shepard, Andy Warhol, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin...umjetnici – tek djeca. The performance about the life of Patti Smith is a result of exploration of the long line of the artist-society relation. Patti is not just the first in line of the punk revolution, the symbol of “different” rock and roll. attiP is a symbol of fight for pure art. From Rimbaud, Whitman to Jim Morrison, she embodies the sister by feeling, erudition and strength. What does it mean to embody her subversive work today? To love the present, revolution and the power. We escape conventionality through poetry, courage, equally poetical, musical, dream-like!

The appearance of Patti Smith on New York’s art and music scene at the beginning of seventies was so powerful, her rise fast and unexpended, and influence so strong that it is hard to evaluate her role even from today’s point of view.

The performance, based on a text by Jelena Slivar and Morana Foretić, follows the genesis of an artist, the rise of the creation from the spirit of time. The gallery of characters turns as a sort of fascinating merry-go-round, a kaleidoscope of the world of art where child artists Robert Mapplethorpe, Sam Shepard, Andy Warhol, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin meet. They may not be important but what had gone out of them is. And it is an expression, the performance, the music as a mission and a mean of communicating with the audience.

Marija Božović je rođena 1979. godine u Titogradu. Muzičku karijeru započinje kao vokalni solista, autor muzike i brojnih tekstova. Dobija brojne nagrade na festivalima i 2008. godine izdaje svoj prvi album pod nazivom “Bez najave”, a 2012. izdaje svoj prvi singl na engleskom jeziku, pjesmu “Misbehave” sa kojom se na MTV Adriji predstavila i regionalnoj publici. Godine 2018. uspješno brani magistarski rad na temu „Uloga riječi, muzike i mašte u usvajanju stranog jezika“ na Univerzitetu Mediteran.
