Sv ir id o v received 24.II.2000 Summary: 630 species of the Noctuidae are listed for the modern Volgo-Ural fauna. 2 species [Mesapamea hedeni Graeser and Amphidrina amurensis Staudinger ) are noted from Europe for the first time and one more— Nycteola siculana Fuchs —from Russia. 3 species ( Catocala optata Godart , Helicoverpa obsoleta Fabricius , Pseudohadena minuta Pungeler ) are deleted from the list. Supposedly they were either erroneously determinated or incorrect noted from the region under consideration since Eversmann 's work. 289 species are recorded from the re gion in addition to Eversmann 's list. This paper is the fifth in a series of publications1 dealing with the composition of the pres ent-day fauna of noctuid-moths in the Middle Volga and the south-western Cisurals. This re gion comprises the administrative divisions of the Astrakhan, Volgograd, Saratov, Samara, Uljanovsk, Orenburg, Uralsk and Atyraus (= Gurjev) Districts, together with Tataria and Bash kiria. Two species of Lepidoptera new for the fauna of that country Palpita vitrealis (Rossi, 1794) and Lygephila craccae ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) were found. Faunistic records of 23 other species of Lepidoptera are also presented. Key words: Lepidoptera, Balkan Peninsula, Albania, faunistics, Lygephila craccae, Palpita vitrealis INTRODUCTION The fauna of Lepidoptera of Albania is still poorly known. Even common, widely distributed in Europe species which are known from adjoining countries are not reported there. Thus any faunistic data from Albania are very valuable. Last major contributions to the recognition of fauna of Lepidoptera of Albania was presented by Beshkov (1995), Beshkov & Misja (1995), and Beshkov et al. (1996). While Karsholt & Razowski (1996) reported 1628 species, at present 1721 species are recorded from that country (De Prins 2007, Karsholt & Nieukerken 2007). MATERIALS AND METHODS During University of Łódź expedition to Albania in August and September of 2006 54 moth and butterfly specimens were gathered from four localities: - Butrinti: N 39°43’144’’; E 20°07’570’’; 40 m; UTM: DJ 29; 07.09.2006; olive grove. - Tepelene: N 40°37’488’’; E 19°59’289’’; 600 m; UTM: DK 19; 10.09.2006; mountain meadow. -

S. Ortiz, M. Garre, J. J. Guerrero, R. M. Rubio & J. A. Calle Resumen Se actualiza el catálogo sistemático de los Macrolepidoptera de Murcia (sureste de la Península Ibérica). Se añaden 27 nuevas citas y se discute la eliminación o la identificación taxonómica de determinados taxones que incrementan el catálogo faunístico hasta las 793 especies. Se dan nuevos registros de las especies endémicas Charissa assoi e Idaea korbi , mientras que otras especies como Proserpinus proserpina, Euclidia glyphica y Polyphaenis sericata , extendidas por la mitad septentrional de la Península Ibérica, son confirmadas en el área de estudio. Se aporta un nuevo dato de Polymixis germana , una especie rara conocida solamente del hábitat estepario xerotermófilo del sureste de la Península Ibérica. -

Dezember 2008 ISBN 3-938249-08-0 The Moths Fauna (Lepidoptera) of Şile in the Asian Part of Istanbul Province, Turkey (pl. 39) Thomas BARON Key Words: Lepidoptera, Noctuoidea, Turkey, Istanbul Stichworte: Lepidoptera, Noctuoidea, Türkei, Istanbul Deutsche Zusammenfassung Der vorliegende Artikel berichtet über die Fangergebnisse von Noctuoiden und anderen Nachtfaltern in Şile, einer Kleinstadt am Schwarzen Meer in Westanatolien / Türkei. Der Ort und der Landkeis Şile sind Teil der Provinz Istanbul. Einige weitere Fangergeb- nisse des Autors in anderen Teilen der Provinz Istanbul sind ebenfalls aufgeführt. Betrachtet wurden Arten der Familien Notodontidae, Nolidae, Arctiidae, Lymantriidae, Erebidae, Noctuidae, Sphingidae, Lasiocam- pidae, Saturniidae, Drepanidae und Thyatiridae. Nicht berücksichtigt wurden Microlepidoptera und Geometridae. Die Artenliste wurde, wo nötig oder sinnvoll, mit einigen zusätzlichen Angaben angereichert, die allgemeine Verbreitung, ähnliche Arten oder das Vorkommen in Şile und anderen Teilen der Provinz Istanbul kommentieren. Für jede Art wird mit römischen Ziffern angegeben, in welchem Monat die Fänge erfolgt sind. Hierbei bedeutet (b) Anfang, (m) Mitte und (e) Ende des Monats. Die Zahl der gefangenen Spezimens wurde als grober Schätzwert für die tatsächliche Häufigkeit verwandt und die Arten dement- sprechend in vier Kategorien eingeteilt: vc – sehr häufig c – häufig s - vereinzelt r – selten Es wird deutlich, dass die Fauna Istanbuls derjenigen Rumäniens und mehr noch derjenigen Bulgariens ähnelt, beides Länder, die ebenfalls am Schwarzen Meer liegen. Da Istanbul aber auch mediterranen Einflüssen unterliegt, ist eine stärkere Vertretung des mediterranen Faunenelementes zu beobachten. Nur eine der festgestellten Arten wurde bisher in Bulgarien noch nicht gefunden, für Rumänien sind es einige mehr. -

Cardoso Abstract 38 species are added to the Portuguese Lepidoptera fauna and two species deleted, mainly as a result of fieldwork undertaken by the authors in the last year. In addition, second and third records for the country and new food-plant data for a number of species are included. A summary of papers published in 2007 affecting the Portuguese fauna is included.
