PRODUCTION BIOS

IRA PINCUS (Executive Producer) - Ira Pincus is an Executive Producer and head of the television movie department for Entertainment One Television, based in . Since joining the company in 2005 (then known as Blueprint Entertainment), Pincus has produced almost 30 films for the company.

Films of note include: “When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story,” starring and Barry Pepper, for Hallmark Hall of Fame and CBS, “Window Wonderland,” starring Chyler Leigh and Naomi Judd, for Hallmark Channel, the series “Til Death Do Us Part,” starring John Waters, for Court TV, “Absolution,” starring Samantha Mathis, for Lifetime, “The Road To Christmas,” starring Jennifer Grey, the western-themed movie franchise “Goodnight For Justice,” starring Luke Perry, “Mom’s Day Off,” for Hallmark Channel and “Reel Love,” starring LeAnne Rhimes and Burt Reynolds, for CMT.

Before joining Entertainment One/Blueprint, Pincus Films was housed at Von Zerneck-Sertner Films, where Pincus produced “Vinegar Hill,” an Oprah Book Club Selection, starring Mary- Louise Parker, Tom Skerritt and Betty Buckley, for CBS, “I Do (But I Don’t),” starring Denise Richards and Dean Cain, for Lifetime; “Three Days,” starring Kristin Davis, for ABC Family, “Defending Our Kids,” starring Annie Potts and Michael O’Keefe and “Killer Instinct: From the Files of Candace DeLong,” starring Jean Smart and A. Martinez.

Prior to becoming a producer, Pincus worked as a telefilm packaging agent at Creative Artists Agency, from 1996-1999, representing the agency’s top directors, actors and production companies. From 1990-1996, he was an executive at HBO’s Citadel Entertainment, where he was involved with the sales, development and production of approximately 12 films a year.

Pincus majored in Radio, Television & Film at the University of Maryland and State University at Northridge.

CHRISTIE WILL (Director) – CHRISTIE WILL (Director) – Christie Will grew up in Ontario Canada, and in 1995 was the recipient of the 'Terry Fox Humanitarian Award' given by the Canadian Government. The award recognizes adolescents who have demonstrated the highest ideals and qualities of citizenship and humanitarian service while in pursuit of excellence in academic, amateur sport, fitness, arts, health and voluntary community service. Will studied at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts and the College of Charleston in South Carolina. She earned a BA in Business Arts Management, in addition to a BA in Theatre Performance (concentrating in Music Theatre and Film). Will also received a 'Leadership in the Arts' Distinction Award, upon graduation. Following University, Will graced stages across North America, before moving to Los Angeles where she worked as an actress, and emerging director and writer. During this time, she split the year by living between Vancouver Canada and Los Angeles California. It was during her time back in the theatre that Christie honed in on her writing and directing for the stage. After finding success and audiences within the theatre scene, Christie soon transposed her efforts into film.

Will’s first short film “Dysfunction” was received with critical acclaim, encouraging her to focus her creative aspirations to further writing and directing for the big and small screen. She worked as Peter Berg's director's assistant (“Smokin Aces,” “Friday Night Lights,” “Hancock,” “The Rundown”), before moving into Senior Executive in Business Development for singer/ entertainer Paula Abdul (responsible for the development of Paula's first reality show “Hey Paula”). From this position, Will focused her sights on directing electronic press kits for feature films, and learning the business of movie production. Her sharp storytelling and creative approach to these electronic press kits made for happy distributors and producers. She quickly moved into a producer’s seat after earning the respect from her colleagues and peers. After successfully producing (co-producing & associate producing) various film and televised projects, Will naturally segued into writing and directing feature films. Will’s writing and directing has been described as "authentic, uncensored, and female centric; Christie Will is one of those emerging talents to keep your eye on" (The Sun).

Will lives on the West Coast between Los Angeles, California - USA and Vancouver - British Columbia, Canada.

ROBIN PALMER BLANCHE (Writer) – After graduating from Boston University in 1990 with a degree in Mass Communication, Robin Palmer Blanche moved to Hollywood and began working at the William Morris Agency. She quickly moved up the ranks and spent the next decade as a literary agent, producer, and television network executive at Lifetime Television before beginning a writing career. After writing 10 Young Adult and Middle Grade novels, she moved back into screenwriting. “So You Said Yes” is her first produced MOW.
