ENHANCED BURN TREATMENT CREAM AND PRODUCTION METHOD

Subject of the Invention: This invention is established from herbal medication combination intended for the treatment of first and second degree burns on the skin. Current operation of the system : The burn cases in our temporary time are being treated by means of various creams and pomades; requires expensive treatments at hospitals, the treatment terms take long times, the patients suffer pain during the term of the treatment and mostly scars are left behind that require application of plastic surgery. Innovation and Advantage of the Invention: The purpose of the invention: To eliminate the negativities of the medication used for treatment of burn in our contemporary time; to provide treatment of burns for the patients in shorter terms without leaving scars behind, without needing hospital treatment, without needing sterilization and in a manner cheaper than the medications on the market. In addition to this, the medication can be preserved at room temperature for number of years without any degradation. The invention, in a short time after being applied to burn cases, heals the pain and the ache of the patient in half an hour and depending on the degree of the burn provides healing in a short time such as in 5-10 days. Permanent scars due to the burn are avoided. In addition, in following terms the skin cancer is not encountered in the area of the injury. Portion which should particularly be Preserved and Content: The base of the herbal medication which is our invention is obtained by gathering oil olive, beeswax, turpentine, gunnuk gum, gum mastic, Cheshmek (cesmek), radix alkannae. The main particulars of the materials in its content are specified below: Olive Oil (also referred to as Olive oil, sweet oil, oleum olivae, huile d'olive etc.); this is the yellow liquid oil obtained from the ripe fruit of the olive (oleaeuropea) plant. It contains , , , . These unsaturated oil acids are believed to have the antioxidant effect that avoids the cell damage caused by cancer. Additionally, the material content called sequalenin protects the skin against UV rays. It has pain killing and anti-inflammatory effects. Additionally in carries a small amount of phytosterol with A and E vitamins. Beeswax (Cera Flava); This is the wax obtained by melting the honeycombs in water bath after the honeycombs made by honey bees (Apis mellifera L.) are emptied from the honey. The beeswax is a mass that is dark, dark yellow or greenish in color, becoming liquid between 62-65 degrees and having the smell of honey and a special taste. Its principle content is myricin (myriclpalmitate). Additionally, it contains the paraffin hydrocarbons that contain cerotic acid; and heptacosane. It is used in the formula of the products for cosmetics and skin care. In case of sensitive skin it provides skin care without preventing the respiration of the skin and provides to kill the pain. It is a good antiseptic for healing injuries. It contains more A vitamins comparing to other herbal products and A vitamin is required for the development of the skin. Even after technological treatments its bactericidal aspects may remain active. Turpentine (terebentin, oleum terebinthinae, turpentine oil extract, oleum terbinthinae extract, turpentine oil); from the carving in the shape of V made on the stem of the redwood (pinus brutia) the oleoresin (oleum resin) is collected. From this oleoresin, turpentine is obtained (Oleum terebinthinae) by way of water vapor dilatation. The turpentine has the nature and color like honey or has pale yellow color with its own resin smell and bitter taste; and it is a product which starts boiling at 155°C. In its content there is resin (70-90%) and volatile oil (10-28%). Oleum terebinthinae is used for pomade formulas in pharmacy and in perfumery it is used externally as pain killers. When turpentine is used orally in addition to its anti-parasitic and antiseptic character it has a poor anesthetic character. When used as pomade it may be beneficial for diseases such as myalgia, bronchitis, chronic rheumatism. Turpentine oil extract can easily be absorbed from the skin; it can dilate the peripheral veins, may cause a heat sense on the skin, increases the circulation of blood and may increase the arterial tension. It is en effective antiseptic used in respiratory and urinary tract. Gunnuk gum (storax, Sweetgum,Oriental sweet-gum, Liqudambar orientalis); a scar is name in the tree stem and the juice there to is collected with the crust. The juice is put in the boiling water with the crust. The content of the bin is taken in to hair bags together with the crust and the open end is tied up. The water coming out from the bag and the balsam mixture are preserved in the up for renting. The balsam that sediments down is called Styrax Liquidus T.K.(levant storax or Mia. Styrax ,s a semi-liquid, grayish, sticky, unclear mass; and it has its own characteristic smell and taste; it is heavier than water. It contains resin, volatile oil and cinnamic acid and its traces, styrene and vanillin. It has stimulating, antiseptic, expectorant, anti-parasite effects. It may be beneficial in case of lung diseases, gonorrhea, scabies and skin ulcers. It may be used a pomade or plaster. Gum Mastic (mastic, sweet gum; mastix pistazia, mesteki, mastika); Gumwood (pistacia lentiscus) has green leaves and it is an evergreen tree. A resin flows down from the cracks opened on old branches or the stem of this tree, this is called Mastix T.K. (gum). Gum mastic's principle ingredient is resin. 80% of the resin is constituted by mastichic acid resolving in alcohol, the rest is constituted by Masticin and 2% is constituted by terpene (Boiling point is 155-160°C) essential oil. It has analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal, antitussive; degassing, diuretic, expectorant, odontalgic, sedative, anti-parasitic, peptic ulcer healing and stimulating effects. It brings the blood pressure, cholesterol and triglyceride to the normal values. It may be used on bums and on eczemas. Additionally it is used in pastry, beverages, cosmetics, tooth paste and hair lotions. Abies Gum; In our coutry we have Caucasian and East Black Sea Abies (A. noidmanniana, mezda, mezleki, mezlegi). From the pine cones of this type a gum is obtained which is used as antiseptic and is benefitted for healing the injuries. Cheshmek (Bush seed, kunar,); is the seed of jarusalem thorn (paliurus spina christi, rhamnaceae). The fruit of jarusalem thorn (Fructus Paliuri) has the diameter of 2-2.S cm, it has the shape of a disc, it has dark color and its edges are winged. The seed of the fruit contains tannin, fatty oil, polyuria and fiavone types. Cheshmek is beneficial for eczema, fractures on breast and hemorrhoids. Radix Alkanae (La Radix Alkannae, Al Rotwurzel, Racine d'orcanette., In. Alcanna root); Alkana tinctoria (L.) are the dried roots of the Tausch type. This species has blue flowers, it is fuzzy, aged in many years and 10-30 cm high plant. Alkanet root given the natural color of the plant; it is called Anchusa tinctoria. Alkanet root is similar to red resin an it contains alkannin (alcanin) which does not dissolve in water but dissolves in oil, alcohol, and ether. From the roots of Alkana tinctoria the acid ethers of dimethylacrylic acid, acetoxy-isovaleric acid, isovaleric acid and angelic acid are isolated. In its composition there is additionally wax and tannin. For some medication and for obtaining herbal paint roots of Radix Alkanae are benefitted from. Additionally, tincture prepared from its roots is used in reactions for defining the fixed oil. It has features to heal injuries. The dye material obtained from the root is used as pomatum, lip stick dye and in coloring oils. It is used for coloring the even porto vine while its preparation. The Roots of radix Alkanae has the feature to accelerate tissue granulation and epithelisation in antiviral, antibacterial, antipruritic, anti-inflammatory effects and in healing injuries. It is used in treatment of ulcer, burns, hemorrhoids and in other traumas as local treatment. Alkanin esters and these esteric pigments have extreme injury healing effects.

Preparation of the Invention: The medicine combination which is our invention is constituted from gunnuk gum, gum mastic, abies gum, turpentine, radix alkannae root, beeswax, cheshmek and olive oil. Gunnuk gum, gum mastic, abies gum, turpentine, radix alkannae root, beeswax, chesmek are added into a certain amount of olive oil in certain ratios and the mixture is boiled. The mixture which is boiled for a certain period of time is filtered from cheesecloth/filter and from the filter it is poured into the cup where it will be cooled and left for cooling. After cooling it is ready for use at all times. The medication does not need to be preserved in the fridge. It can be preserved at the room temperature for many years. A mixture of compounds (extract) are used instead of in pure form. Alkanna tinctoria roots are directly use after boiling for 15 minutes in the olive oil and wax. Namely, any purification does not make from plant roots. Thus, all -soluble compounds found in the roots have contributions on therapy. The basic philosophy of phytotherapy is based on a treatment arise from as a result of synergistic effect of all the compounds present in a plant. Therefore, there are direct or indirect effect of a mixture of all the components on the treatment. A fat-soluble extract containing all of the compounds which contained in Alkanna tinctoria roots is used.

Styrax used in our invention is obtained from an endemic species, Liquidambar officinalis grown in Mugla. Styrax used in our invention is different from the others and that is yielded and used only in Turkey . Turpentine used in our invention contains a combination of the essential oil and resin together . Therefore, together with other components in the mixture made up of the patent application is a new therapeutic approach. The plant used in our formula is Paliurus spina- christi. Although belonging the same family with Ziziphus spina-christi (Rhamnacea), these two plants are completely different species. Because of the similarity of their species names, it has been stirred by those in researcher by mistake. Therefore, the contents of the plants are different. The resin used in our invention are derived from the same tree cones type of fruit Both resins are obtained from the same plant but parts are different from those obtained. One of them is obtained from scratches made body and the other is obtained from fruit Their compositions are different. By means of the natural effect of the materials in the mixture a medication combination is obtained which can easily be applied on bums and which kills the pain/ache due to the burn and which ceases the necessity to use other treatments. Areas of Use andApplication: The invention is pomade which is easy to prepare and to apply. During the application of this medication on burned skin there is no need for sterilization. An easy to find soft tissue, thick cotton gauze is particularly preferred as wrap and at the first stage the burned skin of the patient is wrapped with this kind of gauze on which the pomade is applied. On the following day, after the wrap is opened, the injured part is washed by means of warm water and soap. If there are bulla (nodule full of water inside) or if there is dead tissue, these bullas or dead tissues are opened by means of scissors and are cleaned. These procedures are not painful and the patient does not feel pain during this application. During the treatment applied this way, depending on the degree of the burn, the amount of the medication is adjusted and is continued for 8-10 days. During the medical dressings there is no need for sterilization and in addition to that pain killers and hospital treatments are not required. The nonexistence of pain/aches during the treatment and not leaving scars are the most important characteristics. The studies on our medication for its effects on breast fractures during active lactation are still continued in addition to its effects on patients with burns and positive results are continued to be obtained. Additionally, during the preparation phase of medication, the portions left on the cheesecloth/filter after filtering process may be used for skin by mixing with olive oil and by boiling this mixture.
