Kefka’s Krew Presents… A BioWare/EA Game… Genre: Sci-Fi RPG/Third Person Shooter Developed by BioWare, Produced by Electronic Arts Platforms: Xbox 360, PC, PS3 Tech: Built on the Unreal 3 engine Target Audience: Rated M for Blood, Drug Reference, Sexual Content, Strong Language, Violence The Story So Far… In 2183, the galaxy almost fell to a Geth invasion, led by the very mysterious and very powerful Sovereign, and disgraced Council Spectre Saren Arterius. During the climactic battle at the Citadel, Commander Shepard, the first human Spectre, defeated Sovereign and Saren, and saved the galaxy. Now, in 2185, human colonies in the frontier of the Milky Way are disappearing, and it’s up to Commander Shepard to figure out why… Setting The Milky Way The game takes place all over the galaxy Player travels to different star systems using Mass Relays and Mass Effect Technology The Normandy Your ship, the Normandy, is the major hub for the player Use it to travel around the galaxy, receive missions, upgrade yourself, your ship, and your crew, and interact with your squad Hub Worlds The Citadel: Seat of Galactic Government Omega: “Capital” of the Terminus Systems Illium: Asari Trading World Tuchanka: Krogan Homeworld The Story • One month after the events of the first game, the original Normandy is destroyed, and Commander Shepard is killed. • Two years later, Shepard’s body is recovered and rebuilt by Cerberus • Woken up during an attack on the station, taken to see the Illusive Man • Sets out to find why human colonies are disappearing, signs point to the Collectors. • The Illusive Man sets Shepard on a mission to recruit an elite team to destroy the Collectors. • Travels the galaxy recruiting squad mates and investigating the Collectors • Finds proof that the Collectors are working for the Reapers • Travels through the Omega-4 Relay and finds what the Collectors needed so many humans for, and defeats the Collectors.
