Day 1 - Friday The largest of the French West Indian towns blends cosmopolitan style and local colour, with its urban lifestyle, colourful markets, metal architecture and Fort-de-France charming old houses. Stopover for boarding and disembarking. Ship docked in port.

Day 2 - Saturday The largest of the Grenadine islands boasts a surface area of 18 sq kms, and a major role in the history of whaling. Its winding roads reveal stunning Bequia views of the surrounding islands and tropical forest. At anchor, beach and water sports.

A restorative day at sea. Choose from the range of inviting possibilities on our remarkable sailing ship. Aruba is one of the Little West Indies islands, off the coast of . Since it separated from the Dutch West Indies in 1986, it has been a State of the Day 4 - Monday Aruba Kingdom of the Netherlands. It has little tropical vegetation, and white sand beaches that make it a hit with tourists. It is as flat as the Netherlands, the highest point on the island being Mount Jamanota, 18 metres high.

Day 5 - Tuesday On the largest of the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao), Willemstad is a a little Caribbean Amsterdam vibrant with colour, blending Dutch and Curaçao Spanish influences in its own original way. Ship docked at port.

Day 6 - Wednesday This Dutch island is a real ecological sanctuary. It owes its reputation to its coral , amazing diving, and its flights of pink flamingoes. Ship docked in Bonaire port.

Day 7 - Thursday A string of 50 small pieces of paradise, only one of which is actually inhabited. Lagoons and strips of virgin sand create the most astonishing blues ever. Grand Roques At anchor. Beach and water sports.

Day 8 - Friday A in the string of Los Roques islands, where pelicans meet round lagoons and white sand beaches. The tranquil and perfectly clear waters reveal Crasqui the treasures of underwater life. At anchor. Beach and water sports.

Day 9 - Saturday The days of pearl hunting are over, but the fascination is still there. Around the island, sleepy villages stretch along the fine sandy beaches. At Margarita anchor. Water sports (no snorkelling), no beach. Excursions*may be pre-booked: La Restinga.

Day 10 - Sunday La Blanquilla No phones or shops here, just some very white sand, that makes this almost desert island an immaculate paradise.

Day 11 - Monday The smallest of the Grenadine Islands has just one little village, surrounded by idyllic beaches with the finest sand, crystal clear waters and multicoloured Mayreau tropical fish. At anchor. Beach and water sports. Inclusive of crayfish picnic. Excursion* may be pre-booked: Catamaran the Heart of the Grenadines.

This small island territory is home to fragrant nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. A succession of colonial influences has left a fascinating heritage of Day 12 - Tuesday Grenada architectural curiosities. At anchor. No water sports or beach. Day 13 - Wednesday The largest of the French West Indian towns blends cosmopolitan style and local colour, with its urban lifestyle, colourful markets, metal architecture and Fort-de-France charming old houses. Day 2 - Saturday You won't believe your eyes when you see the architectural curiosities of the Ile à Quatre. As you come alongside the coast, troglodyte-style buildings Bequia - Catamaran (1/2 seem to spring forth from the rocks and tropical vegetation. This rock creation is called Moonhole, and is made up of a collection of homes created during day) * the hippy era. The beautiful natural beach and the dives down to the corals beneath are simply heavenly.

Day 6 - Wednesday The island of Bonaire is one of the most charming of the former Dutch Antilles! After travelling through the capital Kralendijk, a pretty little pastel-coloured Bonaire / Island tour (1/2 town, you'll take the coast road north. You'll see Lake Goto, a natural saltwater lake that's popular with flamingos. Then you'll continue on to Rincon day - morning) * village, founded by the Spanish in the 14th century, and then head South to see the saltpans and former slave houses.

Day 9 - Saturday South of Margarita Island, visit the Laguna de la Restinga national park in a lancha - a small motorboat, that takes you round the canals. Guided through Margarita / La Restinga (1/2 day - morning) * this beautiful, protected zone by the birdsong, you'll see starfish, seahorses and little in the mangrove.

Day 11 - Monday This picture postcard afternoon, with a 100% Caribbean ambience and cocktail, will take you to the translucent waters of Union Island and Palm Island. Day 12 - Tuesday Service only available on board. Discover the Caribbean coast of Grenada at the helm of a speedboat for two people. You can explore the marine park Grenade / Randonnée en Zodiac (1/2 journée) where you will enjoy a snorkelling session on the very spot where Jason de Cayres Taylor submerged his now world-famous sculptures.

Day 12 - Tuesday At Dougaldston Estate, discover the spices that have made Grenada famous: cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. In a historic warehouse at Gouyave, Grenada / Waterfalls and thousands of nutmegs lie on wooden racks waiting to be sent off round the world. You'll then go through the forest to Concord Falls, where you can take a nutmeg (1/2 day) * dip.

Day 12 - Tuesday Spice Island is as rich in fragrance as it is in natural beauty. After visitng the main nutmeg cooperative at Gouyave on the west coast, we stop off at Grenada / Island tour (day) Belmont Estate, an authentic 18th century cocoa plantation, for lunch. On the way back we stop off at the Rivière Antoine distillery, founded in 1760, which * has lost nothing of its original charm.

Day 12 - Tuesday You'll discover St Georges - the charming capital, known as the Little San Francisco of the West Indies - in a vintage truck. You'll stop at the two forts that Grenada / Forts and beaches (1/2 day - look out over the town, and after a detour in the nearby hills, where you'll have a great view of the interior of the island, you'll have the chance to swim afternoon) * from one of Grenada's most beautiful beaches.

Day 12 - Tuesday You'll start this magnificent forest walk at "Grand Etang". It'll take you through a plantation where you'll see cocoa, nutmeg and bananas, and then on to Grenada / La Capije (1/2 day - morning) * the bamboo waterfalls where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.

Service only available on board. Discover Habitation Clément, an exceptional rum distillery in many ways. It includes a colonial mansion that welcomed Day 13 - Wednesday presidents Mitterrand and Bush after the Gulf War, botanical gardens, as well as a distillery that produces the most famous rums in the French Antilles.
