His play-to-screenwriting credits also include Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll and SubUrbia. After SubUrbia, Bogosian concentrated on acting. His credits include the Oscar-nominated comedy, , Gossip, In the Weeds and Ararat. Talk Radio earned Bogosian a Silver Bear award for his screenplay as well as his acting. TALK RADIO Creative Team

JOHN PATTERSON (Director, Scenic & Sound Design) has worked in Texas and New York as an actor, director, fight coach, musician and composer for the past 25 years. He was most recently seen in the Dirt Dogs production of The Exonerated (Gary) and in Sweeney Todd (Judge Turpin) at Inspiration Stage. Other recent theatrical credits include Macbeth (Macbeth) at Upstage Theater, director of Lone Star and Laundry and Bourbon at the Company OnStage, as well as director for Bright Ideas at Theatre Southwest where he was also fight coach for A View from the Bridge.

BARBARA ALICEA-APONTE (Production Stage Manager) is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BA in media production. Barbara stage managed The Graduate, all of the productions for Dirt Dogs’ inaugural season, as well as the world premiere of The Boundary in 2016. Barbara has also been a stage manager for Below the Belt at Country Playhouse, and Extremities, Superior Donuts and The Philadelphia Story at Theatre Southwest. She is excited to be a part of this production and would like to thank the entire team at Dirt Dogs for the opportunity. She would also like to thank her parents for their unwavering support in all of her endeavors.

JOHN BAKER (Production Manager) Dirt Dogs Theatre Co.: Founding Member, Design Director. Recipient of the Houston Press award for Best Lighting Design of 2015 for his work on The Pillowman at Theatre Southwest. Nominee of the Houston Press awards for Best Lighting Design (2017) on Glengarry Glen Ross. Recent designs: The Exonerated, Life x 3, Glengarry Glen Ross, Five by TENN, A Steady Rain, and The Boundary (Dirt Dogs Theatre Co.), Break of Noon (Queensbury Theatre), The Pillowman, Laura, Superior Donuts, Extremities, Death and the Maiden, Philadelphia Story, Merry Wives of Windsor (Theatre Southwest), Below the Belt (Country Playhouse), In-Step Dance Company, Planet Funk, International Ballet of Houston (Hobby Center, Zilkha Hall), Houston City Dance. MALINDA L. BECKHAM (Costume Design & Set Decoration) is a founding member and the Artistic Director of Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. She has been a prominent member of the Houston Theatre community since her stage debut in Charley’s Aunt (Amy Spettigue) in 1993. Since then, she has been in productions of The Graduate (Mrs. Robinson), Five by TENN (Hardwicke-Moore/Woman/Cornelia Scott), Death and the Maiden (Paulina Salas), Lu Ann Hampton Laverty Oberlander (Lu Ann), A Few Good Men (LCDR JoAnne Galloway), Proof (Catherine), and The Bad Seed (Christine). Malinda recently directed the world premiere of The Boundary, as well as The Exonerated, Glengarry Glen Ross and A Steady Rain for DDTCo. and has been at the helm of several productions including Extremities, The Philadelphia Story, Laura, Critic’s Choice, and The Columnist. Malinda was a Houston Press finalist for set design for both Glengarry Glen Ross and The Philadelphia Story. She sends her thanks and gratitude to John Patterson for leading this outstanding cast and crew! Special thanks to her handsome husband and partner in life, Trevor, for his unwavering love and support.

TREVOR B. CONE (Audio Engineer) is a founding member and the Executive Director of Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. Trevor has directed and designed sound for several Houston productions including Life x 3 and Five by TENN (Dirt Dogs Theatre Co.), The Break of Noon (Queensbury Theatre), Below the Belt (Country Playhouse), Death and the Maiden, Superior Donuts, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and The Wayside Motor Inn (Theatre Southwest). Additional sound designs include The Boundary (Dirt Dogs Theatre Co.), Extremities, The Columnist, The Philadelphia Story (Theatre Southwest) and Desdemona/ Waiting for Othello (Trebuchet Players). Trevor thanks the cast and crew of this wonderful show for their passion and dedication! Special thanks and all his love to Malinda who makes all things better.

CARLY GREGG (Light & Sound Operator) is a junior at the Post Oak School. Her past tech experience includes light board operator for The Graduate for DDTCo., as well as the opening night of Heathers at Wildfish Theater. There she has performed in many productions including Spring Awakening, Big Fish, Heathers, and Little Women. She has also performed in several productions at the Post Oak School, including Clue the Musical and You Can’t Take it With You. She also enjoys basketball, volleyball, piano, volunteering, playing guitar in her band Nighttime Colors, and reading. She wants to thank her family, friends, and teachers for their support.

AMIRA JUDEH (Scenic Artist & Vocal Coach) is excited to be working on her first production with Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. Amira has been performing, directing and coaching actors in theatres in Houston and in California for more than 15 years. Some of her favorite productions include Les Precieuses Ridicules (Magdelon) and the west coast premiere of Nine Parts of Desire (The American) at Sacramento Theatre Company, Bright Ideas (Linzie/Ensemble) and One Slight Hitch (Melanie) at Theatre Southwest, and Macbeth (Lady Macbeth) at Upstage Theatre and Houston Theatre Company. Amira would like to thank DDTCo. and John for this wonderful opportunity.

MARK LEWIS (Lighting Design) is excited to be working with Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. Mark has designed scenery and lights for more than 200 productions in Houston over the last 24 years. Some of his favorites are Godspell (scenery, 2001; lighting, 2017), Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, Arsenic and Old Lace, and John, His Story at A. D. Players, Miss Nelson is Missing and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (ballet) at Omaha Theater Company, The Miracle Worker at The University of St. Thomas, Mrs. Warren’s Profession at Classical Theater Company, as well as work at TheaterLaB and Texas Repertory Theatre. Mark and his wife Marci enjoy traveling, spending time with and spoiling their great- granddaughter, Kaitlin, as well as their dog Morty and cat Mello.

ERIN NEWSOM (Assistant Stage Manager) is a senior at Stratford High School and is excited to once again be a part of Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. She was recently the lighting & sound operator for The Exonerated and Glengarry Glen Ross with DDTCo. She’s currently stage managing Newsies at Stratford Playhouse. She would like to thank the Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. team for this opportunity. TALK RADIO Cast

CURTIS BARBER (Bernie/Callers) is stoked to be a part of Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. He has been working professionally in Houston since 2012, after graduating with a BFA in acting from Texas State University. Some favorite credits include The ;nv;s;ble Play (Colin) at Cone Man Running Productions, Hay Fever (Simon Bliss) at Company Onstage, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (William Barfee) at COM Theater, and Little Shop of Horrors (Mr. Mushnik) at Rice University. Curtis currently works as the Assistant Theatre Director at Elsik High School.

SETH CUNNINGHAM (Chet/Callers) is making his DDTCo. debut! Past credits include Cabaret (Ernst Ludwig), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (John Jasper), Antony & Cleopatra (Octavius Caesar), and Tommy (Cousin Kevin) at Obsidian Theater. Before coming to Houston he studied musical theatre at Sam Houston State University. Shout out to his friends and family and especially his cat, Bob Fosse.

KEVIN DAUGHERTY (Barry) is honored to bring Barry Champlain to life for Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. Kevin was previously seen in the DDTCo. productions of Life x 3 (Henri) and A Steady Rain (Joey). Kevin has also performed in Race (Jack Lawson) at The Ensemble Theatre, Breaking the Code (Alan Turing), Extremities (Raul) and Death and The Maiden (Gerardo) at Theatre Southwest, Cabaret (Emcee), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (George), Company (Bobby) and Misery (Paul) at Island Etc., as well as RED (Mark Rothko) and Equus (Martin Dysart) at College of the Mainland. Kevin would like to dedicate this show to Malinda Beckham Cone. You are a gift to the world!!!!!!

BILL GIFFEN (Dan/Callers) is thrilled to return to DDTCo. where he previously appeared in The Exonerated (Jesse/ Ensemble) and Glengarry Glen Ross (Dave Moss). Bill received his BFA in theatre from Sam Houston State University and previously worked at The Woodlands College Park High School as a theatre teacher. Currently, he works with Majors & Mondragon, Wealth Management. Some of his favorite productions have been Noises Off (Frederick/Philip) with Stage Right, A Streetcar Named Desire (Stanley) and The Great Gatsby (Tom) at Kaleidoscope Theatre. He’s also appeared in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (McMurphy) and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Brick) at The Owen Theatre. He feels grateful to be part of such an amazing production!

MELODY GRAY (Dr. Susan Fleming/Callers) is thrilled to be working with DDTCo. Melody has returned to Houston from where she received her MFA in acting from The New School for Drama, where she was the lead in Trojan Women (Hecuba). Other New York appearances include The Cherry Orchard (Madame Ranevskya), The Comedy of Errors (Adriana, Egeon, Angelo) and the Playhouse on Park regional production of The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek (Gin Chance) in Hartford, CT. Her Houston credits include One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Nurse Ratched) and The Women (Sylvia Fowler). Melody is represented by Pastorini-Bosby.

SHAWN HAVRANEK (Stu) is pleased to work with DDTCo. again. He was just seen in Insomnia (Melphius) by William Miner at the Student Playwright Festival. A smattering of other roles include The Merry Wives of Winsor (Falstaff) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bottom) at the Conroe Bardfest, And Then There Were None (Inspector Blore) and Noises Off! (Lloyd) at Stageworks, The Jungle Book (Shere Khan) and Whodunnit? (Cappadistrio) at Company Onstage, and Sherlock Holmes and the Jersey Rose (Professor Moriarty) at Theatre Suburbia.

ROBERT JAMERSON JR. (Spike/Callers) is excited to be back on stage with DDTCo. where he recently performed in the Student Playwright Festival. Robert has performed in Houston, including appearances in The Twilight of the Golds (Rob Stein) at Theatre Suburbia and Skeleton Crew (Dez) at 4th Wall Theatre Company. He would like to thank God for the opportunity to be a light in his Kingdom. Robert would like to thank his mother and father for their continued support. Finally, he would like to thank his beautiful wife for supporting his many passions!

GEORGE KNAPP (Kent/Callers) is excited for his Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. debut. George is a young American actor who studied acting/filmmaking under the guidance of both Marjorie and Bret Scott at Sul Ross State University. There, he made appearances in Cabaret (Rudy), Mozart and The Grey Steward (Mozart) and The Cherry Orchard (Lopakhin). DONNA BELLA LITTON (Debbie/Callers) is honored to be doing a show with Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. She graduated from Santa Fe University of Art and Design this past December with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre. Donna performed in many shows at the Greer Garson Theatre during her time at SFUAD, including The Cave Dwellers (Girl), Heathers: The Musical (Veronica), and The Threepenny Opera (Lucy). Armed with blind faith and passion, Donna is ready to jump into her theatre career, and couldn’t be happier to start off as a Dirt Dog.

ANJANA MENON (Denise) is excited to make her DDTCo. debut! Anjana’s recent Houston theatre credits include dramatized readings Shiv (Shiv) and Open Carry (Omelette) with Next Iteration Theatre Company; Partition (Namagiri of Namakkal) and The Prophet and the Poet (Narrator) with Shunya Theatre. She also served as their assistant director for the hit children’s musical, The Adventures of Hanuman, as well as the critically acclaimed Art. Before she moved to Houston, Anjana was a core member of Masquerade located in Chennai, India, where she appeared in Brer Rabbit Chronicles (Brer Terrapin), Incestuous Bastard (Hera, Writer), Bhopal (Izzat), Dystopia (Warden) and Nuns in Black (Angelica).

ADINA OWEN (Linda/Callers) is honored to be making her DDTCo. debut. Adina’s recent appearances include Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen (Aerialist) at Houston Grand Opera, Seussical (Gertrude McFuzz) at Fort Bend Theatre, and many years as part of Houston’s all- lawyer charity theatre company, Night Court. She has a degree in Integrative Arts from the Penn State Schreyer Honors College. She is grateful above all to her husband Robert for his endless support and love, and would like to thank all those involved in Talk Radio for making this experience an actor’s dream come true.

SEAN K. THOMPSON (Sid/Callers) is honored to be making his debut with Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. While he loves to direct (favorites throughout the area include Noises Off, The Buddy Holly Story, Young Frankenstein, Kiss Me Kate, Back to the ‘80s, and many Shakespeare productions), he’s been known to tread the boards from time to time. Favorite past roles include Freud’s Last Session (Sigmund Freud), two productions of 1776 (John Adams and Ben Franklin, respectively), in two productions of The Three Musketeers (King Louis XIII and Porthos, respectively), as well as various incarnations of Scrooge.
