This plan builds on the values held by the University since its establishment as the Working Men’s College in 1887, and commits RMIT to being a global university of technology and design. Under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Margaret Gardner AO, the University completed implementation of RMIT 2010: Designing the Future and achieved another strong operating surplus.
